Sony is gearing up to officially unveil the Sony Xperia 10 VIII, with exclusive renders and benchmark leaks from Android Headlines revealing what to expect ahead of its scheduled August 25, 2026 event.

 

Familiar Flat Aesthetic with Refreshed Color Options

Leaked marketing renders indicate that the Xperia 10 VIII features a chassis nearly indistinguishable from its predecessor, the Xperia 10 VII.

It sports a flat backplate housing a compact horizontal camera pill with dual sensors and an LED flash, alongside a white color infused with a subtle hint of green. This actually reminds me of the Google Pixel smartphones

Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Processor, 8GB RAM, and Android 16 Out of the Box

Geekbench 7.0 listings for reveal that the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The benchmark shows the device paired with 8GB of RAM and running Android 16 right out of the box, achieving scores of 871 in single-core and 3,028 in multi-core performance.

Preserving Classic Sony Hardware Features

As with previous Xperia 10 series entries, the phone keeps physical convenience front and center with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. It is also expected to retain staple features including a 3.5mm headphone jack, lightweight build, and water resistance for daily durability.
