Tecno has officially revealed its latest tech showcase ahead of IFA 2026. The company claims that it is the world’s first truly bezel-free smartphone featuring an industry-first zero-millimeter (0mm) border. While current flagships from Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi push screen-to-body ratios up to 95 percent, Tecno’s concept shaves off the final remaining frame for a 100% borderless display.

Achieving a 0-micron border required Tecno to completely reengineer the internal display architecture using advanced internal component stacking and new screen packing techniques. This structural overhaul re-routes internal display drive circuitry and safety clearances that typically mandate a 1mm to 2mm outer rim on conventional OLED panels.

Touch Rejection Algorithms and IFA 2026 Global Showcase

To prevent accidental palm touches on the edge-to-edge glass display of the smartphone, Tecno integrated specialized touch-sensitivity algorithms designed to distinguish intentional taps from natural grip pressure. Tecno states that this zero-border design language will serve as the blueprint for its upcoming flagship smartphones.

The fully functional concept device will make its official physical debut at IFA 2026 in Berlin, where Tecno is expected to announce production timelines.
