After years of waiting, players can finally pre-order their copy of Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA VI pre-orders will officially begin at midnight local time on June 25, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Alongside the Standard Edition, Rockstar also revealed the content included with the premium GTA VI: Ultimate Edition, the Vintage Vice City Pack pre-order bonus, and a free month of GTA+ for digital buyers.
GTA VI Ultimate Edition Includes Exclusive Story Content
The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition includes premium vehicles, weapons, businesses, missions, clothing, and customization options integrated throughout Jason and Lucia’s single-player story.
Some of the biggest additions include:
- ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and Paradise Garage
- ’95 Grotti Cheetah sports car
- Dinka Enduro motorcycle and Crest Kayak
- Exclusive Vapid Ganado pickup modifications
- Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s vehicle mod shops
- Classic Car Collection restoration missions
- Shitzu Squalo boat with an explosives crate
- Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers
- Personalized weapons for Jason and Lucia
- PTT Youngin$ Compound missions and contraband
- Exclusive outfits, hairstyles, tattoos, makeup and accessories
Ultimate Edition players will also gain access to exclusive locations, including the Stock 305 clothing store, Sara’s Unisex Salon, and Electric Fang Tattoo. More than 50 exclusive tattoos designed by artist collective FAILE will be available.
These bonuses will not necessarily be unlocked immediately. New items and activities will become available as players progress through the story. Rockstar will also sell an Ultimate Edition upgrade separately for owners of the Standard Edition.
Vintage Vice City Pack Pre-Order Bonus
All qualifying GTA VI pre-orders will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, which pays tribute to the colourful style of the original Vice City era.
The pack includes the two-tone ’55 Vapid Stanier, a personal garage near Ocean Beach, exclusive hairstyles and luxury outfits for Jason and Lucia. Players will also receive a tropical weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s iconic palm-tree shirt.
The Vintage Vice City Pack will be included with all digital copies purchased before November 20, 2026. It will also be included with physical pre-orders while supplies last.
Interestingly, Rockstar says physical GTA VI boxes will contain a code for downloading the game instead of a traditional game disc.
Digital Pre-Orders Include One Month of GTA+
Players who pre-order any digital edition through the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store will also receive one free month of GTA+.
GTA+ includes a recurring GTA$500,000 monthly deposit, discounted GTA Online vehicles, special Shark Cards with 15% bonus GTA$, and access to selected games from the GTA+ Games Library. The membership will automatically renew at its regular monthly price after the free month unless cancelled.
Digital pre-orders can begin pre-loading GTA VI on November 12, one week before launch. Physical versions containing the download code will also become available on November 12 for pre-loading.
GTA VI Release Date and Platforms
Grand Theft Auto VI will officially launch on November 19, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not yet been announced.
