realme continues to expand its Narzo 60 series with the introduction of the realme Narzo 60x. Following the launches of Narzo 60 and Narzo 60 Pro in July, this latest addition offers a budget-friendly option with some impressive features.
Featuring a 6.72-inch 120Hz Full HD+ LCD display, the Narzo 60x offers a visually appealing experience. The screen boasts a peak brightness of 680 nits and a rapid 180Hz touch sampling rate. The centered punch hole on the display houses an 8MP selfie camera. Unlike AMOLED panels, the fingerprint scanner is conveniently embedded in the power button for added security.
The realme Narzo 60x is equipped with the Dimensity 6100+ SoC, ensuring smooth performance for various tasks. It runs on the Android 13-based realme UI 4.0, providing users with the latest software enhancements. With 128GB of onboard storage, users have ample space for their apps and media. The realme Narzo 60x is an enticing option for budget-conscious consumers. The 4GB/128GB model is competitively priced at INR 12,999 (~Php8.9K), while the 6GB/128GB variant is available for INR 14,999 (~Php10.2K). Both models also come in the attractive colors of Stellar Green and Nebula Purple.

Looks like HUAWEI got a minor win early this year despite the US sanctions and bans to the company as HUAWEI has recorded that the Mate X3 got the biggest market share of 32.9% for the ‘fold-type’ foldable smartphone in 2Q 2023 according to the research company, Omdia.
Just a recap, the HUAWEI Mate X3 comes with a lightweight and slim body along with a powerful XMAGE camera inside and also a tough Kunlun Glass for the outer display.
This news is not surprising as the Chinese market is still big and HUAWEI is still popular to its home country. Also, this has been the usual practice of Samsung as they reduced the shipments of their existing foldable product in 2Q 2023 due to the release of their upcoming next-gen foldable in the third quarter.
It has also been pointed out that Samsung still maintains the top-position when including the market share of flip-type foldables with a market share of 26.7%

Design and hardware
One of the things to love about the HONOR Magicbook X15 is the design and hardware of the notebook. It comes with a simple yet premium design similar to Huawei MateBook D15 that we’ve reviewed before. The design of the notebook is heavily inspired by MacBooks, which isn’t bad as we look into those notebooks as premium and really solid.
For the body of the notebook, it comes with a premium metal body that makes the notebook feel and look tough despite being affordable and reasonable to our wallets. For the lid of the notebook, there’s the HONOR logo as well on the side which is pretty similar to the MateBook D14.
For the ports, the MagicBook X15 comes with USB-C port for charging along with the USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and HDMI on the left side and then there’s the 3.5 mm headphone jack along with the USB-A 2.0 on the other side. There’s no SD card slot and there’s only a single USB-A port on the side which may not be enough for some people who needs more ports for their notebook.
There’s the fingerprint scanner on the notebook as well which is located on the power button of the MagicBook X15 but unfortunately, there’s no Face login on the notebook and the camera placement of the MagicBook X15 is awkwardly placed at the keyboard that can be recessed by pressing it. Due to the angle of the webcam, it does look weird when using it for video call.
Battery Life
Inside the notebook is a 45WHr battery and it comes with a 65W USB-C charger with support for fast-charging so charging the notebook was fast and easy and can be fully charge from 0 in an hour and a half. However, the battery life of this notebook can only do up to 4 hours at most usage which is a little bit disappointing considering that this one doesn’t have a discrete GPU.
Display
The display of the notebook comes with a 15.6” panel with an 87% screen-to-body ratio along with 16:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, and also a resolution of 1920×1080. This isn’t the best display that we’ve seen as this one doesn’t really have a wide range of colors but if you’re doing office work, the notebook will work just fine and of course, the MagicBook X15 is still great for office and for school work.
Keyboard and touchpad
The keyboard of the MagicBook X15 comes with a fine layout. The touch response and the key travel was goodto me so typing articles and documents on the MagicBook X15 was enjoyable. There’s the chiclet-style keyboard and I might like the feel of it, but this notebook doesn’t come with a backlit keyboard so typing on the dark is harder on the notebook.
As for the touchpad, it’s large enough for my daily usage and it’s really smooth to glide on. It’s also responsive and on point as well so it was enjoyable to use as well. The size was great as well and I didn’t had any problems with it.
Performance
Inside the notebook is an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor which is a little bit dated today and there’s 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. As expected, the specifications of the notebook will do just fine until today for the basic tasks and if you’re planning on gaming then that’s where will have some problems as the 11th Generation processor of the notebook can only do so much. In our benchmarks, we got these scores which are expected for its specifications.

When it comes to gaming, the Intel Iris Xe G7 graphics inside this one would do just fine for the basic and light games but if you’re expecting heavier games on this one, well, just it is possible that it won’t run or you have to set it at low settings to even run it on the notebook.
In our test, we were able to play Valorant on the notebook at an average of 95 fps on low settings however, games like Horizon Zero Dawn wasn’t even able to run on this one. so again, don’t expect too much from this one.

As for the ecosystem, the HONOR MagicBook X 15 2022 works perfectly with an HONOR smartphone as you can send photos and videos easily to the device with HONOR Share. You can also do multi-screen collaboration if you want as well.
Verdict
The HONOR MagicBook X 15 2022 is definitely made for those people who wants to enjoy the HONOR ecosystem or for those people who wants to have a premium-looking notebook that won’t break the bank. It might have a dated specifications inside but it will do just fine for most of the basic stuff on school or work.

Design
For the design of the smartphone, it’s pretty clear that this one looks edgy and it’s made for gamers with its Cyberpunk-style design at the back of the smartphone. But despite that, the back is made up of plastic and these design doesn’t really make of a difference in performance or in experience. But it sure is unique compared to other smartphones.
We also got here some LED strips just beside the camera of the smartphone that can light up when it comes to notifications, playing music or when you’re just playing games. It’s a nice touch but it’s more subtle compared to the Nothing phones.
There’s the flat sides as well which is made up of plastic and as for the ergonomics, the smartphone is fine to hold actually despite the flat sides whether it’s on landscape or on portrait mode. So playing longer hours on the smartphone would be just fine. When it comes to the ports, thankfully, the Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with a USB-C port that supports 45W charging and thankfully, there’s the headphone jack in here. As for the battery, it comes with 5000mAh battery inside.

For the display, the smartphone packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz which is bright enough to be used even at outside and the colors are just fine.
Camera
As for the camera, the smartphone comes with 108MP main camera along with two 2MP lenses and then there’s the 32MP selfie camera. Unfortunately, there’s no ultra-wide angle lens in sight in the smartphone. However, it does makes sense since this one is affordable. As for the quality, it’s definitely not the best one out there.
Software and performance
For the software of the smartphone, it also comes with a gaming-centric feel as well as the Infinix GT 10 Pro’s UI is pretty much similar to the one on the design outside the smartphone. As expected, it’s user-friendly and it does come with a lot of bloatwares and unfortunately, you can’t uninstall some of them.
When it comes to performance, the Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with a Dimensity 8050 chipset inside which is a pretty powerful one. In our initial test of the smartphone, we were able to play different latest games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail with ease. Games like Mobile Legends and Farlight 84 would fare fine as well.
Verdict
Overall, the Infinix GT 10 Pro does pose a really good design especially for mobile gamers at heart. The UI is also in line with the design of the smartphone and lastly, the Dimensity 8050 processor inside the smartphone can definitely perform really well in most games as this one is identical to the DImensity 1300 chipset which is already known to perform well.
