Smart Infinity, the luxury postpaid brand of Smart, has officially introduced Smart Infinity PureVoice, a network-level feature that brings AI noise cancellation to mobile voice calls. The service uses real-time AI algorithms to filter out intrusive environmental background sounds.

Network-Level AI Filtering Without App Downloads

Unlike software-based noise suppression that requires dedicated smartphone chips or third-party meeting apps, PureVoice operates directly across Smart telecommunications network.

This architecture allows the feature to work seamlessly on any mobile phone, including older handsets without built-in hardware noise cancellation.

Subscribers do not need to install an application, update firmware, or configure complex account settings before using the service.

Easy In-Call Toggle and Ambient Noise Suppression

Users can activate or disable the noise cancellation feature on demand by simply pressing 8# on their phone keypad during an active call.

The AI engine identifies and suppresses common ambient distractions such as heavy road traffic, loud public transport announcements, cafe chatter, and background music.

By preserving the natural tone of the human voice while stripping out background interference, the system helps professionals take high-stakes business calls on the go.

Smart Ongoing Network Modernization and Rollout

The launch of PureVoice builds on Smart extensive network modernization efforts over recent years.

Smart previously completed its Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Video over LTE (ViLTE) deployments, allowing users to make high-definition calls while maintaining uninterrupted mobile data speeds.

In recent quality-of-service tests conducted by the National Telecommunications Commission in Metro Manila, Smart achieved a zero dropped calls rating that outperformed competitors.

While PureVoice is available first as an exclusive privilege for Smart Infinity members, Smart plans to expand the feature to more subscribers in the future.
