Razer Announces Reusable Face Masks – For Frontliners, By Gamers For Only $29.99

Razer is one of the first gaming brands to take action against the COVID-19 pandemic. The three-headed snake branded converted some of its manufacturing lines to produce surgical masks and is giving them for free. The Philippines is one of the recipients of Razer’s surgical masks as well as Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

Earlier today, Razer and Min-Liang Tan’s Facebook Pages announced a pre-order of the Razer Cloth Mask. The Razer Cloth Mask is a reusable face mask certified for a 95% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency. Of course, it’s not a Razer product without that distinct three-headed snake logo on the right side of the mask. What’s surprising is there’s no chroma version.

The Razer reusable cloth mask will retail for $29.99 US(Php 1,500) with two sizes. There’s no specific date when will the Razer Cloth Mask launch but do register at their website if you want to get notified.

Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone To Arrive In July

The Lenovo Legion smartphone is no longer a secret thanks to several Weibo leaks showing its renders, posters, and accessories. The nail to the coffin is Qualcomm’s own announcement of phones that will use the SnapDragon 865 SoC – one of which is the Legion Gaming Phone.

Legion officially confirmed it will launch its upcoming gaming smartphone in July. The news came from a teaser poster from Legion’s Weibo handle.

A lot of details about the Legion Gaming Phone can be extracted from the leaks and Qualcomm SnapDragon 865 announcement. Since it will be using the SD 865. it’s pretty much confirmed that the Legion Gaming Phone will support 5G networks and WiFi 6 connectivity. Previous teasers showed its insane 90-watt charging support.

Alongside the Weibo teaser is another render of the phone in landscape orientation. The cameras are placed slightly off-center with the Legion logo in the same orientation. A USB Type-C port can also be seen on the side of the phone meaning it is the closest competitor to the ROG Phone series.

The announcement of the phone does not mean that stocks will arrive days or weeks later after the announcement. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, stocks of the Legion Gaming Phone will likely arrive in the Philippines by Q4 2020, hopefully before the holiday season.

vivo Philippines has officially unveiled the price of the vivo V19 Neo in the country even before the launch of the smartphone. The price of the vivo V19 Neo has been posted at the company’s website.

The vivo V19 Neo will arrive in the Philippines soon with an SRP of Php17,999 with the availability of the smartphone to be unveiled later today at their event. The vivo V19 Neo features a 6.44-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the 32MP selfie camera and of course, there’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage.

Sony unveils the Playstation 5

Sony has just officially unveiled the Playstation 5 and yes, this is the next-generation console of Sony and it looks a lot different compared to other consoles of Sony as we got here a curvy look on the console and not just because we’re getting two versions of the console in here. Yep, two.

So what can we get here? Well, it does look weird and it looks like the console is designed by aliens. LOL. Just like the controller, we got here a design that shares the design language of the dualsense controller but what I like about it is the similar design that we’re getting here for its accessories. 

The Playstation 5 comes in a vertical form factor and inside, we got here an AMD RDNA 2-based GPU and also an AMD Zen 2 CPU. We also got here an ultra-fast SSD with PCIe 4.0 which is the best in its class. 

The Playstation 5 will also come with two variants — one with an optical drive and the other one called the digital edition in where it will rely on Playstation store for all of its games. Some of the notable games that were unveiled for the Playstation 5 are:

The Sony Playstation 5 event will be happening this June 12 Philippine Time after it was postponed last June 5 due to the Black Lives Matter protests. We can expect the unveiling of the look and other features of the console.

Some of the main features of the Playstation 5 have been unveiled a few months ago.
