Pokemon GO goes down again in the Philippines after a few minutes

0

We’re getting annoyed with Niantic because first, they didn’t anticipate the excitement of Pokemon GO players that’s why there are countries where Pokemon GO is not yet available including ours and now, they recently teased us again by letting Pokemon GO work again in the Philippines and then going back down after a few minutes.

Pokemon GO is still not yet available for iOS and Play Store in the country. Maybe Niantic is just testing their servers for our country so let’s hope that we will be getting Pokemon GO in the country soon

Pyxis reversible Micro USB is awesome and affordable

0

You know, it takes a lot of time and it gets really annnoying when we want to plug our cables the right way. One of the gripes of many people when using Micro USB is its lack of reversible port unlike Apple’s lightning cable and the next generation USB Type-C.

Thankfully, we now have a reversible Micro USB thanks to our friends from Pyxis. And you don’t have to worry about that because these reversible Micro USB from Pyxis will work with any device as long as the device has a Micro USB port. How does that work? Well, instead of having a trapezoidal port just like the traditional Micro USBs, this one has a hexagonal Micro USB port.

There’s the braided 1M cable too that’s why the cable is also tough and it tear apart easily. I actually like its build and both the cable and the port is pretty strong too. Oh and don’t worry about the cable because it can output a current of 2.4A that’s why it can also be used for fast charging.

The Pyxis reversible Micro USB is now available for P300. A pretty good price for a cable with this quality

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 pricing announced!

0

The Nvidia 10XX series GPUs have been a big leap from its predecessor and many reviewers have praised the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and 1080 including myself. While those two might not be friendly to your budget, the GeForce GTX 1060 might be the right powerful GPU for you.

The GeForce GTX 1060 is the newest member in the family and it touts a power of the GTX 980 and it is positioned to take on AMD’s RX 480. Not only that, the GTX 1060 also proudly boasts that this GPU will have a 3x more performance when it comes to VR,  1.7x better in Overwatch, more than 2x in Rise of the Tomb Raider, and less than 2x in Witcher 3.

The Nvidia GTX 1060 has a Pascal Architecture with 1.7GHz Clock speed, 1280 CUDA cores, 6GB of GDDR5 memory and 8Gbps memory speed.

The price? It’s actually a lot cheaper than the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 at $249 which around P12,000.

Well, I’m quite excited on how will this GPU fares out in the market. The GTX 1060 is expected to come out this July.

MMDA reminds us to be more careful when playing Pokemon GO

0

Pokemon GO might be an exciting and an enjoyable game because we really need to go outside and travel to capture different Pokemons and also to get different items that we need for battle and for our Pokemons. And of course, our Pokemon quest to become a Pokemon Master would be dangerous to some as some people become unaware of their surroundings when they’re playing.

That’s why MMDA reminds us that we should be very careful when we are playing Pokemon GO in the streets. Here are some of their reminders for us future Pokemon trainers:

MMDA also warned us that there might be Team Rockets around the Metro. (Yeah, those snatchers are the real Team Rocket)

Pokemon GO access blocked in PH

16

It’s a sad day for us soon-to-be Filipino Pokemon masters as we have to lay down our caps, backpacks, and pokeballs as the most awaited mobile game has been blocked in the country.

Earlier today, Pokemon GO was released publicly to Australia and New Zealand and a barrage of APKs have been flooded for Android users and iOS users have switched their region to Australi or New Zealand just to access and download Pokemon GO. But unfortunately, Niantic and Pokemon was quick to block countries that are not included in the official release of Pokemon GO.

We’ve tried VPN and mocking our GPS but it seems that those tricks doesn’t work. Also, you won’t be able to see Pokestops, Pokemons, and other markings anymore in the Philippines.

So what do we do now? Well, the only thing that we can do is wait for the official release of Pokemon GO here in the Philippines.
