Carbonn Car Chargers: Affordable car chargers for your devices

0

If you’re looking for an affordable car charger for your smartphones then you’re in luck because Carbonn got some car chargers that won’t break the bank. Carbonn is one of the few brands that offers accessories for your smartphones such as powerbank, headphones, and car chargers. If you’re not familiar with Carbonn, this is a brand handled by Topstrasse Global Inc.

And recently, we received two of their car chargers and these are the 2-in-1 car charger and 4-in-1 car charger. And of course, car chargers is very easy to use, all you need to plug it into the cigarette lighter receptacle on your cars then plug your USB cable to the car chargers. The 2-in-1 charger has a single 1A output and a 2A output for tablets while the 4-in-1 charger has 2x 2A outputs and 2x 1A outputs.

Both chargers can charge your smartphone although don’t expect a very fast charging from it. The 2-in-1 car charger will cost you Php319 while the 4-in-1 car charger is just at Php479. I strongly suggest that you get the latter since there’s only a small price difference between the two.

You can get the affordable USB car chargers of Carbonn from Torque kiosks and stores nationwide.

British Audio Brand KEF is now available in the Philippines

0

KEF, one of the authorities in the audio industry have arrived in the Philippines via Coby’s Gear and Gadget which can be found on the second floor of Shangri-La Plaza Mall.

DSC03019

KEF is a British brand that offers different audio products ranging from speakers to headphones and we were one of the few lucky people to test out their audio products. KEF competes against big brands such as JBL and Bose but IMO, KEF offers a better design but still, it still offers a premium audio quality.

DSC03024

Inside Coby’s Gear and Gadget, you’ll be able to see their different products such as the MUO speaker that offers a stylish design and vivid colors depending on your taste and it also offers one of the best audio quality for a Bluetooth speaker.

DSC03031

Their best product in the store is the more the Php600,000 pesos speakers that are  DSC03024  made for audiophiles. We’ve tested it in the room and watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens and even listen to a song and damn, the KEF speakers were hair-raising good and you could really feel the separation of the instruments and how detailed and clear the audio are.

DSC03032

There are also the M-400 and M-500 headphones that work really well and performs better than I expected. They have a premium build, a comfortable design, and an audio quality that trumps most headphones that I’ve used. The quality is even near to those noise-cancelling headphones.

If you’re interested in KEF audio products then head over to Coby’s Gear and Gadget located at the 2nd level of Shangri-La Plaza Mall.

ASUS Cerberus Gaming Keyboard Review

0

Having a good keyboard is very crucial to every gamer out there but of course, not everyone could afford a decent gaming keyboard because you know, it’s expensive. But thankfully, ASUS Philippines have released their affordable gaming keyboard, the ASUS Cerberus Gaming keyboard.

DSC02944

First things first

In case you already have the ASUS Cerberus Gaming Keyboard, be sure to update the keyboard to its latest software update that can be found on ASUS’ website.

DSC02961

The ASUS Cerberus Gaming keyboard might be affordable but it is still packed with a lot of features including a dedicated buttons for media controls such as stop, play/pause/previous, next, volume up and volume down.

DSC02960

The keyboard might pack decicated buttons for media controls but this keyboard doesn’t have dedicated buttons for macro keys but don’t worry because you can use the function keys as your macro keys for this keyboard.

DSC02953

Design-wise, the ASUS Cerberus Gaming keyboard means real gaming business because this keyboard has really this gaming feel. The design of the keyboard is edgy and it features a sharp design that adds a gaming feel that might probably boost your confidence when playing games (But that rarely happens LOL).

DSC02967

Below the keyboard is a full rubberized feet which is really essential if you really have strong movements or if you’re always pouring your rage on the keyboard. That one is really essential for me since I really get annoyed when the keyboard moves from its position due to its low friction (Yeah, I’m talking to you my generic gaming keyboard!) But hey, the rubberized feet of the Cerberus Gaming keyboard is pretty damn good.

DSC02941

DSC02943

The keyboard also features a braided USB cable that feels really tough and solid and thankfully, the USB plug wasn’t really that big and it doesn’t block other ports whenever I use it on my laptop or even my PC. Another thing to love about the ASUS Cerberus Gaming keyboard is the splash-proof design thanks to the drain holes underneath the keyboard

DSC02955

One of the main features of the ASUS Cerberus Gaming keyboard is the LED backlit keyboard. Not only that this keyboard features a backlit keyboard but you can also change the color from red to blue with its 4-level light setting. If you want, you can also set the keyboard to display a fading light but I wouldn’t really recommend that one especially if you always spend your time looking at the keyboard.

DSC02970

This isn’t a mechanical keyboard but the keys of the ASUS Cerberus Gaming Keyboard is soft and comfortable to use however I felt that there was a need on a more tactile feel on this one but overall, it’s still good especially for its price. The addition of the Macro keys is also a plus for some gamers. Since this keyboard is for the gamers, the W, A, S, and D keys have arrow keys.

Unfortunately, there’s no dedicated software that for the ASUS Cerberus Gaming keyboard that lets you map the keys and control its lighting.

Verdict

DSC02972

Without a doubt, the ASUS Cerberus Gaming Keyboard is one of the best bang for the buck gaming keyboards out there. It might not have mechanical keys and separate macro keys but it still has most of the basic features that you would look for a gaming keyboard which are macro keys, LED backlighting and multimedia keys.

The ASUS Cerberus Gaming Keyboard is now available for P1,670
