Fast and Furious 6 star, Gal Gadot will be playing the role of Wonder Woman in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and today, Director Zack Snyder has posted an image of Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman’s costume. It might look like different from the Wonder Woman that you’ve seen in the late 70s and in the comics but damn, Wonder Woman looks hot and pretty serious in the movie. Actually, Wonder Woman’s custom reminds me of Xena. Oh geez, I can’t wait for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice on 2016!
Nvidia has finally launched their Tegra Note 7 tablet and it will be exclusive to Cherry Mobile in the Philippines! The Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 is a gaming tablet powered by Nvidia Tegra 4 with 72- Nvidia Geforce GPU. Yes, the Tegra 4 processor is very powerful and it can even reach a score of 34000+ at Antutu. There’s a 7-inch HD IPS display, 1GB RAM and an Nvidia DirectStylus which makes the tablet not only for gaming but also for taking notes and drawing stuff.
The Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 has a front facing speakers and I also notice that there’s a big bezel on the tablet. At the back, there’s a rubber matte finish which is similar to the Nexus 7 but unlike that tablet, the Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 is quite thick and heavy. But hey! There’s Micro HDMI here and I can connect the tablet to my HDTV!
If you’ve notice, Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 is different from other Tegra Note 7 tablets it’s because the Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 is the second generation Tegra Note 7 tablet. The Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 is now available for P9,999. Considering its performance, I think the Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7’s price is reasonable.
We know that Game Of Thrones is filled with drama, action, politics, sex and of course, incest. If you love Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister and Cersei Lannister then probably, you would also love to see these serious Game Of Thrones characters behind the scenes. Microsoft today announced the availability of the Lumia 930 in the Philippines. This is Microsoft Mobile’s newest flagship smartphone and it has a specifications and design that is really attractive. The Lumia 930 now packs a 5-inch Full HD OLED display, a Snapdragon 800 processor and there’s a built-in wireless charging on this phone too. Looks like Cherry Mobile will be launching a very powerful tablet soon. Tegra Note 7 will be launched this Saturday and I can’t help but notice the Cherry Mobile logo on the Tegra Note 7 launch invitation. Tegra Note 7 is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and there’s a 7-inch HD display with support for stylus. Last year, NVIDIA has announce the Tegra Note platform in where the OEMs could use the NVIDIA Tegra 4 reference design and create affordable Tegra 4 tablets and it looks like Cherry Mobile is the first local brand to have a Tegra 4 tablet. One thing to love about Tegra 4 is that it can have an Antutu score of more than 30,000.
So why do I think Cherry Mobile would have a Tegra Note 7 despite NVIDIA didn’t announced anything regarding a Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7? Well, Why in the world would NVIDIA put a Cherry Mobile Logo at their invitation if Cherry Mobile wouldn’t have a Tegra device?, Right?

JBL J88 is of my most favorite cans that I’ve tried. And yes, this is much better than the JBL J55 that I’ve reviewed before.The JBL J88 is also one of the biggest cans that I’ve tried and yes, the audio quality was just superb.
The JBL J88 that I got for review is the white one and the combination of white and orange was really enticing and it looks really cool. Despite having a superb sound quality, I am not really a fan of its frame. Sometimes, I feel that the frame might break anytime because the headphones is too big however, I think if JBL make the frame more solid and thicker, the JBL J88 would be too heavy for a headphone.
The JBL J88 is a little bit heavy and too big compared to other headphones but the JBL J88 was very comfortable to use. Since there’s a big can on this device that can be swivelled, there is big padding too which is very soft and very comfortable to the ears. I enjoy using the headphones especially when I’m editing videos and stuff.
The wire of the JBL J88 is long enough for any use and I appreciate that JBL included a flat wire for the JBL J88. Flat wires has less chances of getting tangled wires in your pocket and yes folks, the wire is detachable and there’s a free pouch inside that’s why it is fun to use and more portable
The bass of the headphones is one of its strongest points. The lows are great on this cans however I think the JBL J88 needs more power when it comes to mids and highs. The mids and highs of the headphones aren’t really that good and probably, you’ll only notice the bass on this headphones

Xiaomi has just announced their newest flagship smartphone today. Xiaomi Mi 4 is the newest flagship that has been announced with a Snapdragon 801 2.5 GHz Quad-core processor and a 3GB of RAM and unfortunately, the screen size is still at 5-inch with a Full HD display but don’t worry! Oh look! Is this the next version of Windows? We think so! These are the fresh leaked screenshots of what seems to be Windows 9 or codename ‘Threshold’. If you are using Windows 8 on a desktop without touchscreen, probably, you’re annoyed with the start screen tile but it looks like they’ve found a remedy in Windows 9! Just look at the start menu boys and girls, looks like the next version of Windows will be friendly to those who rely on keyboard and mouse again. Another screenshot also points out that the next version of Windows would have Metro apps that could be windowed or full screen Windows codename ‘Threshold’ or just Windows 9 is expected to arrive in our devices on Early 2015. Let’s hope that Windows 9 will not disappoint. Yes, I’m looking at you Satya Nadella.

Cherry Mobile recently became serious with LTE devices with the announcement of Cherry Mobile Ultra & Superion Scope LTE a few months ago. The Cherry Mobile Superion Scope LTE is their first tablet to sport LTE but it isn’t out in the market yet while the Cherry Mobile Ultra isn’t their first LTE phone but this phone is actually my favorite Cherry Mobile smartphone They already have phablets and Octa-Core phones but even if you’ll give any one of those, I would rather choose the Cherry Mobile Ultra rather than those phones.
Design and Construction
At first glimpse, you’ll never think that it is from a local brand. Most people that saw the Cherry Mobile Ultra for the first time thought it was from an intenational brand. The Cherry Mobile Ultra is purely made up of plastic but the curves of the phone were perfect. It looks elegant and the build of the phone was very solid. Yes, there are no openings, squeaks or gaps in its body and I really like the Ultra’s minimalistic design. This smartphone was also taller than I expected thus, making it less wider and more comfortable to use in one hand.
At the back, it looks very simple and minimalistic. The curves of the phone is beautiful and the placement of the camera, LED flash and the speaker grill looks neat. I also like the logo of Ultra at the back, it’s very minimalistic and neat just like the smartphone. Unfortunately, this phone doesn’t support Dual-Sim since Cherry Mobile Ultra has LTE which can only support a single SIM card. Not a deal-breaker for me since the Cherry Mobile Ultra is aimed to focus on the LTE market and not on the dual sim market.
There’s a plenty of storage on this phone, there’s an 8GB storage inside and you can install applications and games on the MicroSD card but if you’re not a serious mobile gamer like me, I bet the 8 GB internal storage would be enough for you (But of course, it is less than 8 GB).
The Cherry Mobile Ultra doesn’t have the best audio quality unlike other smartphones but I’m already happy and satisfied with its quality. The LTE connectivity? That’s one of the things that you’ll probably love on the Cherry Mobile Ultra. Its biggest feature is LTE and yes, the LTE of the Cherry Mobile Ultra doesn’t disappoint. Most of the time, the signal was pretty strong, the internet is fast and there were no disconnections. The GPS was pretty good too, my location locks up pretty fast on the Cherry Mobile Ultra.
Display
There’s a 5″ HD (1280×720) IPS display on the Cherry Mobile Ultra and it was taller than I expected which makes the phone easier to use in one hand. It’s a Dragontrail display, which will protect your display, but unfortunately, I got a deep scratch on my Cherry Mobile Ultra’s 5” display. The display is also bluer than I expected but don’t worry guys, it isn’t that noticeable.
There’s Android 4.3 inside the Cherry Mobile Ultra and there’s no word if it will be upgraded to Android 4.4 Kitkat. The launcher inside it is not vanilla and it was tweaked a little bit and it is very similar to the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2’s interface. The icons are nice to the eyes and the colors are very similar to Android L. But of course, I would rather have an Android L inside rather than a skinned Android 4.3 that looks like Android L. LOL
Since Qualcomm Snapdragon powers this device, there’s battery guru on the phone, which will help your device save some juices but I barely notice how this app help the battery life of my smartphone. Speaking of battery life, the Cherry Mobile Ultra was able to last up to a day of heavy use. At LTE, It was able to last up to 7 hours. The battery life of the phone was quite good
Performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 powers the Cherry Mobile Ultra and there’s an enough 1GB of RAM inside. The hardware inside Cherry Mobile Ultra is placed at the mid-range category and it performs just well for the mid-range category. The smartphone powered by Snapdragon 400 was able to get a score of 17483 at Antutu, which is just right for a Snapdragon 400 smartphone.
The games? I was able to play a lot of games without problems however not all of them are smooth. I was able to try heavy games like Edge of Tomorrow & Modern Combat 4 and yes, it was playable but unfortunately, it wasn’t that smooth. However, some games like Real Boxing, NBA 2k14 and Dead Trigger 2 are playable and smooth.
Camera
There’s a 13 Megapixel Camera with LED flash at the back of the phone while there’s a 5 Megapixel front camera. The camera of the Cherry Mobile Ultra is not one of its strongest points. The camera took some time before it can shoot a photo. The images that I took were kinda bluish too. Check out the photos that I took below:
Despite its imperfections, I still think that Cherry Mobile Ultra is very nice device. Despite having a plastic build, I still love this phone. The curves and its design were great for me but of course, there are still room for improvements. For now, this is my favorite Cherry Mobile device. I’ve been using it everyday especially when I need LTE. The Cherry Mobile Ultra is now available for P8,999.
