RugOne, a sub-brand under rugged phone brand Ulefone, has officially announced the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The device rethinks mobile photography by embedding a magnetically detachable, cube-shaped action camera directly into its rear chassis.

39-Gram Detachable Action Camera with 2.7K Video and 5m Waterproofing
The standout feature of the Xsnap 7 Pro is its modular camera unit, which docks flush into the phone’s upper back when not in use.
Weighing just 39 grams, the tiny cube can be popped out instantly to serve as an ultra-portable, wearable action camera.

The module records video at up to 2.7K resolution at 30fps and carries 64GB of onboard storage, alongside approximately 40 minutes of continuous recording per charge. The camera is standalone waterproof up to 5 meters without requiring an external dive case, syncing footage wirelessly to the phone via the Xsnap Go app from up to 50 meters away.
MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Power, 1.5K AMOLED, and Massive 9,000mAh Battery
Powering the main handset is MediaTek’s flagship-grade Dimensity 8400 processor, backed by high-speed memory and generous internal storage.
Up front, the device sports a vibrant 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,700 nits peak brightness.

It also comes with a massive 9,000mAh battery, supporting 45W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone also acts as a charging base station, automatically recharging the magnetic action camera module whenever it snaps back into its dock.
50MP OIS Main Camera, 64MP Night Vision, and Extreme IP69K Toughness
Even when the action camera is detached, the smartphone body remains fully functional with its own dedicated imaging setup.
The phone features a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 64MP infrared night-vision camera with dual IR LEDs for pitch-black visibility.

Engineered for extreme survival, the chassis meets IP68 and IP69K ratings, enduring high-pressure water jets, complete immersion, and 1.5-meter drops onto concrete.
Pricing and Availability
The RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro will be offered in Classic Black and Sand Dune color options.
It is scheduled to launch via Kickstarter on September 7, 2026, with an early-bird pledge of €799 (around $930 / ~Php 52,500), followed by an official global retail rollout at $999 (approx. Php 56,500).
