Apple iPhone 13 To Retain Iconic Design With Minor Changes

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 13 is probably one of the most awaited iPhone launches in years as fans are expecting a huge boost in performance following the success of the Apple M1 chip – watch our Apple Air M1 unboxing video. Moreover, it’s also expected for the iPhone 13 to a design change, and a 120 Hz display following early reports of Pro models sporting 120Hz OLED panels from Samsung. Unfortunately, the only thing we’re getting for now is that the iPhone 13 will retain the iconic design albeit slightly thicker and a smaller notch.

According to MacOtakara, a Japanese blog, the iPhone 13 series will still use the iPhone 12’s chassis with the flat edges but it’s slightly thicker by 0.26mm. The notch on the iPhone 13 series will be smaller thanks to the repositioning of the top receiver.

The iPhone 13’s camera bump will have the same thickness with a slight redesign. Moreover, Apple will reportedly apply sapphire glass on top of the triple or dual-camera setup to make it look like a single camera unit. Since the camera bump will reportedly be the same in size, we can assume that it will sport the same camera setup as the whole iPhone 13 series.
