ASUS Business Philippines has launched the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra in the country, positioning the new model as its flagship commercial laptop aimed at executives, enterprise leaders, and professionals with AI-driven workloads.
The device was unveiled on Thursday at a launch event held at Okada Manila, which drew more than 1,200 industry executives, enterprise partners, and technology decision-makers. The event marked the first official visit to the Philippines by ASUS Co-CEO Samson Hu.

Sub-1kg Copilot+ PC designed for AI workloads
The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra enters the Philippine market as a Copilot+ PC weighing 0.99 kilograms, making it one of the lightest 14-inch business laptops currently available. ASUS said the device is built around a heterogeneous AI computing platform that combines CPU, GPU, and NPU performance in a single system.
The laptop comes with up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series processor and integrates Intel Arc graphics alongside an NPU designed for AI tasks. According to ASUS, the system is capable of sustaining up to 50 watts of CPU power through its ExpertCool Pro thermal design.
Intel executive Wendy Gurra, who spoke at the event, said the platform enables up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance for AI-driven applications used in professional and enterprise environments.
Display, build, and input features
ASUS also said the ExpertBook Ultra features a 14-inch 3K (2880 x 1800) Tandem OLED touchscreen with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak HDR brightness of 1,400 nits. The panel uses an anti-glare Gorilla Glass Matte coating and supports touch input.
The chassis sports an AZ31B magnesium-aluminum alloy and measures 10.9 mm at its thinnest point. Despite its slim profile, the laptop houses a 70Wh battery, which ASUS claims can deliver up to 26 hours of use under tested conditions.
For input, the device includes a 1.5 mm key-travel spill-resistant keyboard and a haptic touchpad. Port selection includes USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports on both sides, HDMI 2.1, and a combined audio jack.

Security and enterprise-focused AI features
The ExpertBook Ultra includes ASUS’ subscription-free MyExpert AI suite, which offers features such as AI-powered meeting tools and a local knowledge hub. On the security side, the laptop complies with NIST SP 800-193 standards and includes a self-healing BIOS, a physical webcam shield, and biometric authentication via fingerprint and IR facial recognition.
Meanwhile, ASUS said these features can meet the requirements of IT departments and enterprise customers prioritizing device security and manageability.
