Canon set the bar higher for professional photography, as the company announced the development of the EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera and its new lenses.

The up-and-coming EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera will feature a newly developed 35mm full-frame, backlit, stacked CMOS sensor and a DIGIC X image processor. These offerings suggest that the camera is set to provide users with high-level basic functionality needed by professionals and photography enthusiasts.

To excite fans, Canon shared that the device would feature an Eye Control autofocus, allowing users to simply select and move the AF point using their eyes through the viewfinder of the camera. This will enable professionals to capture fast-moving subjects without any hassle.

NEW CAMERA LENSES FOR PROFESSIONALS AND ENTHUSIASTS

Canon also announced its new lenses, designed to meet different needs.

First on the list is the RF100mm F2.8L MACRO IS USM. It can achieve up to 1.4x macro shooting and sports SA control ring that allows users to enjoy their preferred bokeh effect.

Its image stabilizer can also achieve up to five steps IS, and up to eight stops for coordinated IS.

Canon also unleashed its new medium and super-telephoto RF Prime L lenses that can bolster the performance of the EOS R system. The trio includes the RF100mm f/2.8L IS USM, RF400mm f/2.8L IS USM, and the RF600mm f/4L IS USM lenses.

These lenses are native to the RF mount that can provide users with an extra reach that offers a high level of image quality, reliability, and durability.
