Here’s an interesting piece of news regarding smartphone sales last year — the iPhone XR is actually the best selling smartphone of 2019 in the globe. So how big is the iPhone XR? Well, it captured a 3% market share despite being outed in the market last 2018.
Second in the list is the iPhone 11 which is currently the affordable iPhone in the 11 series and of course, it is followed by the Samsung Galaxy A50 which is pretty popular here in the country and then there’s the Samsung Galaxy A10 and then the OPPO A5. Most of the top-selling smartphones in the list are actually from Apple and Samsung.
In the APAC region, OPPO A5s has the biggest chunk of share with 3% followed by Samsung Galaxy A50, then the iPhone XR, then the Galaxy A10 and lastly, there’s the realme C2 which is a pretty affordable smartphone.
Huawei smartphones might not be on the list but they’re currently the second-largest player in the global smartphone sales.
