GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon has unveiled the GMA Affordabox that is made accessible for all Filipinos. The GMA Affordabox is a plug-and-play device that is connected to your analog TV so you can access and receive digital television broadcasts.

This might be a digital television box from GMA but you can also access GMA, GMA News TV, and the Heart of Asia in digital display along with the other free-to-air digital TV channels.
The GMA Affordabox also comes with a personal video recorder that allows you to record GMA, GMA News TV, and Heart of Asia Programs at a later time. You can also have digital file access and play compatible video files and photos and even listen to music using a USB drive.
The GMA Affordabox also has a nationwide Emergency Warning Broadcast System (EWBS) that can receive alerts from NDRRMC in case there are calamity warnings in their area.
The GMA Affordabox is pretty affordable as this one has a price of P888 with no monthly fees. The GMA Affordabox is now available in stores in where GMA’s digital signal is already available including: Metro Manila, Benguet, La Union, Pangasinan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, Rizal, Bohol, Cebu, Leyte, Davao de Oro, Davao del Sur, and Davao del Norte.
