OnePlus 8 Pro Officially Announced – An ULTRA Smartphone For Less

Starting off with the most hyped and leaked part of the OnePlus 8 Pro, the 6.78″ QHD AMOLED Display. Early leaks and reports suggested that the OnePlus 8 Pro has the best display to date. The specs indeed support its amazing color accuracy and responsiveness. The 240Hz touch sampling rate ensures minimal input lag. It is a unique feature of the ROG Phone II, that is, until the OnePlus 8 Pro launched with the same spec. HDR10/10+ feature is supported thanks to the whopping 1300 nits peak brightness with 4096 brightness control levels.

It’s no secret that the OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 865 following Qualcomm’s announcement of the SoC. Like any flagship of 2020, the OnePlus 8 Pro has a quad-camera setup paired with a gold standard 120Hz refresh rate. Backing it up are dual stereo speakers and haptic vibration for a better gaming experience and immersion.

The OnePlus 8 Pro will have three colorways namely Onyx Black, Ultramarine Blue, and Glacial Green with the last one being a first color from the brand.

The OnePlus 8 pro 8GB+128GB variant is priced at $899 or Php 45,000 in the Glacial Green colorway. The maxed-out 12GB RAM + 256 UFS 3.0 model will start at $999 or Php 50,000 in either Ultramarine Blue or Onyx Black finish.
