PLDT Home has expanded its Fiber Prepaid broadband service, introducing new speed tiers of up to 300 Mbps as Filipino households continue to increase internet usage for work, education, streaming, and gaming.
The move broadens PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid’s offering beyond its original 50 Mbps package, adding 100 Mbps and 300 Mbps plans aimed at households managing multiple connected devices and bandwidth-heavy digital activities.
PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid Introduces 100 Mbps and 300 Mbps Plans
The updated Fiber Prepaid lineup now includes three speed options designed for varying household connectivity needs:
- 50 Mbps for basic browsing, streaming, and messaging
- 100 Mbps for hybrid work, online classes, and everyday streaming
- 300 Mbps for gaming, high-definition streaming, and multiple simultaneous users
PLDT Home said it is currently the only telecommunications provider in the Philippines offering prepaid fiber internet with speeds reaching 300 Mbps, paired with a wide range of load validity options.

PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid continues to operate on a reloadable model, allowing customers to choose packages based on duration and speed. Available validity periods range from 1 day to 365 days, providing greater flexibility for users in permanent residences, condominiums, and secondary homes.

PLDT noted that the 365-day 50 Mbps package reduces daily internet costs to Php19.17 per day, positioning it as a lower-cost option for long-term users.
Prepaid Fiber Targets Multi-Device and Work-From-Home Households
The introduction of faster prepaid fiber speeds reflects broader shifts in household internet behavior, with homes increasingly serving as spaces for work, learning, entertainment, and gaming.
PLDT Home identified the 100 Mbps plan as the “sweet spot” for families balancing streaming, online meetings, and school activities. Meanwhile, the 300 Mbps tier is designed for users requiring low-latency performance for gaming and uninterrupted connectivity for bandwidth-intensive applications.
Unlike postpaid broadband subscriptions, Fiber Prepaid does not require lock-in periods, credit checks, or long-term contracts, allowing users to reload based on their usage requirements.
Availability and Setup Cost
PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid is available for a one-time setup fee of Php999, which includes 30 days of free internet at up to 50 Mbps.
Customers can reload their subscriptions through the PLDT myHome website, Maya, GCash, SM outlets, and sari-sari stores nationwide.
The expanded prepaid fiber service is now available across PLDT Home’s coverage areas in the Philippines.
