Samsung has officially entered the credit card space in the United States with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Card aiming to compete against the Apple Card. Partnering with Barclays and Visa, this new metal credit card is integrated into the Samsung Wallet ecosystem.

Samsung Galaxy Card: Premium Metal Build and Knox Security

The Samsung Galaxy Card will be available as both a virtual card inside the Samsung Wallet app and a premium, physical metal card with a black Samsung logo. The card features deep integration with Samsung Knox security to protect users from unauthorized transactions.
Management of the card, checking statements to locking the physical card is handled entirely within the Samsung Wallet app.
Cash Rewards Structure: Up to 5% Back on Samsung Purchases
The card stands out with a very aggressive cash rewards structure, especially for those invested in Samsung’s device ecosystem. Cardholders will receive a massive 5% cash back on all direct purchases from Samsung.com, including device pre-orders. For everyday spending, the card offers 3% cash back on all purchases made using Samsung Wallet, 2% back on popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify, and a standard 1% back on all other transactions.
Samsung VIP Advantage Discounts and Welcome Bonus

In addition to the tiered cash rewards, cardholders are eligible for a 20% discount on Samsung VIP Advantage memberships. This membership provides additional product warranties, free delivery, and exclusive hardware deals. Samsung is offering a welcome bonus of $200 USD in cash rewards after spending $2,000 USD within the first 90 days of account opening.
Launch Date and Availability
General applications for the Samsung Galaxy Card will officially open on July 22, 2026. Interested customers can apply directly online through Samsung.com or in person at physical Samsung Experience Stores across the United States only.
