Samsung has officially introduced the Samsung Galaxy Buds On in the United States.
The new open-ear wireless earbuds are engineered for listeners who prioritize all-day comfort and natural ambient awareness without sacrificing dynamic sound performance.
Open-Ear Ergonomics and Lightweight Clip-On Design
Unlike conventional in-ear earbuds that seal inside the ear canal, the Samsung Galaxy Buds On rest gently outside the ear using an ergonomic clip-on architecture.
Samsung developed the lightweight shape after analyzing more than 119 million global ear data points to ensure an adaptable, pressure-free fit.
Each earbud weighs just 6.65 grams, making them comfortable to wear through prolonged workdays, outdoor workouts, or daily commutes.

TwinBoost Speaker and Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Architecture
Powering the audio experience is an 11.3mm TwinBoost Speaker paired with a dedicated Class-D digital amplifier.
Under the hood, the earbuds utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform to drive clean high frequencies and deep bass without distorting the open acoustic chamber.
To keep conversations and music private in public spaces, Samsung incorporated an Audio Leakage Reduction system that actively projects reversed sound waves to cancel stray audio.
When paired with Galaxy devices running One UI 8.5 or later, an intelligent Auto Volume feature dynamically raises or lowers playback levels based on surrounding noise environments.
Hands-Free Gemini Live and Intelligent Clear Call Tech
The Galaxy Buds On integrate with Galaxy AI, giving users hands-free access to Gemini Live by simply saying Hey Google, let’s talk live.
You can also capture ideas instantly using the Quick Voice Memo shortcut powered by Bixby to transcribe thoughts into Samsung Notes.
For calls, the earbuds combine three digital microphones with a Voice Pickup Unit that detects bone vibrations alongside machine learning algorithms to isolate speech in loud settings.
Intuitive Head Gestures allow wearers to nod their head to answer incoming calls or shake their head to decline alerts and dismiss morning alarms.

Up to 38-Hour Battery Life and Bluetooth 6.2 Connectivity
Battery performance is a major highlight, with each 61mAh earbud delivering up to 9.5 hours of continuous music playback or 5.5 hours of voice calls on a single charge. Combined with the 530mAh charging case, total listening battery life extends up to 38 hours
The earbuds connect via Bluetooth 6.2 with support for Samsung Seamless Codec, SSC UHQ, AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs.
Galaxy smartphone owners can also connect instantly through the Quick Panel without launching the standalone Galaxy Wearable application.
An IP54 rating ensures the earbuds resist everyday sweat and unexpected rain showers during outdoor runs.
Samsung Galaxy Buds On Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Buds On are priced at $229 USD and will be available across the United States in Black starting early November 2026.
Samsung has not yet announced official retail pricing or availability for the Philippine market.
