The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is set to debut in the next months. And, recent leaks have provided a sneak peek into what we can expect from these new tablets.

The Galaxy Tab S9 lineup is rumored to include the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. It was spotted in 3C certification and Geekbench listings, shedding light on their battery capacity and hardware specifications. Adding to the excitement, renowned leakster OnLeaks has also unveiled detailed renders and a 360-degree video. This showcased the design of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

Design Highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra

The renders and video revealed several key design elements of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. At the bottom side of the tablet, we can see a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port. There are also power and volume keys on the right side for easy control. Meanwhile, left side features Pogo connector pins, which will be useful for connecting an external keyboard.

The tablet also sports a sleek metal unibody design, as the video depicts. Moving to the back, there’s a Samsung branding at the bottom and a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. The renders also indicate the presence of a notch and slightly thicker bezels on the sides.

Expected Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra

Based on previous leaks and the Geekbench listing, it might feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will power the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. The tablet will also likely come with up to 8GB of RAM and run on Android 13 OS with the One UI 5.1 skin on top. Noted tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) suggests that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will sport a sizable 14.6-inch display with a 2960 x 1848 pixels resolution and 120% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. In terms of dimensions, rumors claimed that it would measure 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm and weigh 737 grams.

Additional rumored features of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra include an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, multiple RAM configurations with a possible 16GB variant, and a powerful 11,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. As for the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, consumers can expect it in the second half of this year.
