Smart is the official telco partner of MPL Season 7

Shanghai-based developer Moonton has officially tapped Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) as its official telco partner for the new season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL).

Smart subscribers and avid esports fans can watch season seven of the Philippines’ largest mobile esports league live through the Smart Facebook page.

With this, fans can enjoy watching their favorite teams, who are set to battle out each other in a round-robin format for a chance to bring home the championship title and a cash prize of USD 120,000 (~Php5.8M).

On top of this, subscribers will also have a chance to win exciting prizes, as well as exclusive updates and freebies throughout the season.

Viewers are also up for exciting games, as the MPL Season 7 brings together the country’s top teams, including Aura PH, Onic PH, Cignal Ultra, Work Auster Force, Smart Omega Esports, Execration, Blacklist International, Nexplay Solid, Laus Auto Group Playbook Esports, and the defending champion Bren Esports.

For Smart, this proves their commitment to support the local esports industry. In fact, since 2017, the company has been the partner of Moonton in upgrading the Mobile Legends experience of Filipino users.

The telco giant has also supported Moonton’s M2 World Championship, wherein Bren Esports emerged as the first Filipino team to win the top prize, earlier this year.
