Almost all local brands these days are going to Android. Torque isn’t new to our ears, it has been around for a few years here in the Philippines. I haven’t seen them get a lot of traction in the Android scene but with their current lineup, I think they really want to get a piece of the pie. One of the interesting smartphone in their Droidz family that they have right now is the Droidz Quad. It packs a Quad-Core processor, running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and it is priced at P5,999. Sure, there are other brands that has the same specs with the Torque Droidz Quad but it is really nice to see that there are a lot of competition going on in the market.
