HUAWEI has officially unveiled the global version of the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12 (2026) at its Munich launch event.
Weighing just 454 grams and measuring a razor-thin 4.7 mm, the flagship tablet features a new standard for featherweight, ultra-portable productivity.
12-inch 144Hz OLED Panel with PaperMatte Anti-Glare Innovation
The main highlight of the MatePad Pro 12 is its 12-inch OLED display, boasting a 3036 × 1952 resolution and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.
HUAWEI is also offering a PaperMatte Display edition that comes with nano-level anti-glare etching to simulate the tactile feel and visual comfort of genuine paper.
For digital artists and professionals, the tablet supports the new HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro stylus alongside a redesigned magnetic Glide Keyboard cover.
Kirin T93 Silicon, HarmonyOS 4.3, and Dual Battery Capacities
Under the hood, the MatePad Pro 12 is powered by HUAWEI’s in-house Kirin T93 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.3, bringing seamless cross-device collaboration, PC-grade WPS Office workflows, and multi-window multitasking.
Depending on regional availability, the European Union variant carries a 9,760mAh battery, while international markets receive a larger 10,400mAh cell.
Regardless of the battery configuration, all global versions support 66W wired SuperCharge to quickly replenish power.
Premium Blue and Space Gray Finishes
The tablet is crafted from a high-grade aviation magnesium alloy that keeps structural rigidity intact despite its sub-5mm profile.
Buyers can choose between two sophisticated color options: a vibrant Blue and a classic Space Gray.
Official regional pricing and release dates across European and Southeast Asian markets are expected to be announced soon.
