HUAWEI has officially confirmed the global launch date for its next flagship smartphone lineup, the HUAWEI Pura 90 series. The grand unveiling event is happening on July 14 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Based on early teasers, the high-end Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max will be the flagship model. The camera setup on this beast is set to introduce new technologies and more amazing features. The main camera will feature a 50-megapixel RYYB sensor equipped with advanced LOFIC technology. This is paired with a 10-stop variable physical aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for low-light performance.
For zooming duties, we are looking at a telephoto shooter utilizing a 1/2.8-inch RYYB sensor that supports 4x optical zoom. Completing the triple-camera setup on the back is a sharp 40-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The Huawei Pura 90 Pro is also joining the global launch with some highly capable specifications of its own. While Huawei hasn’t detailed everything yet for the global version, the series is expected to run on the Kirin 9030S processor.
On the software side, rumors suggest these devices will ship running EMUI 16 with Android 16 as its base
