HUAWEI has officially announced the global release of their latest flagship smartphones, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max. Previously exclusive to the Chinese market, these new Pura 90s flagship models introduce 5G support and better camera.
Industry-First 200MP RYYB Telephoto Camera with Macro Support

The main selling point of the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is its camera setup. It features the industry’s first 200MP RYYB telephoto sensor, which is a massive 1/1.28-inch sensor sitting behind an f/2.6 lens.
It offers 4x optical zoom, real-time RAW video processing for up to 20x telephoto recording, and CIPA 7.0-rated 7-stop optical image stabilization.
Flagship Main Cameras: LOFIC Technology and Variable Aperture

The Pura 90s Pro Max features a 50MP main sensor utilizing advanced LOFIC technology. This RYYB sensor delivers significantly wider dynamic range, replacing the 1-inch type sensor from previous models.
The main lens includes an adjustable physical aperture that ranges from f/1.4 to f/4.0 in ten steps. Rounding out the setup is a 40MP RYYB ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens.
HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro: Slightly Scaled Specs for a Lower Price

The standard Pura 90s Pro shares the same Kirin 9030S 5G processor, but scales back some hardware options. It features a smaller 6.6-inch LTPO OLED screen compared to the Pro Max’s massive 6.9-inch flat display.
Its camera setup features a 50MP 4x telephoto camera, a 50MP main camera without LOFIC tech, and a basic 12.5MP ultra-wide sensor. Both phones feature Kunlun Glass protection and an optical design that reduces screen reflections by up to 70.
Battery Capacity, Charging Speeds, and Pricing Details

Both devices pack 6,000mAh batteries globally, though EU regulations cap the capacity at 5,500mAh for units sold in Europe. The Pro Max supports faster 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, while the Pro model charges at 66W wired and 50W wireless.
