Sony has officially introduced 1000X THE COLLEXION, a new addition to its popular 1000X headphone lineup. The new headphones focus on better design, premium materials, improved comfort, and immersive audio performance.
Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION features
The Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION was designed with premium craftsmanship and long-lasting comfort in mind. The headphones feature a metal headband with a matte sandblasted finish and hand-polished detailing for a more premium look and feel. Soft faux leather materials are also used throughout the design for improved comfort during extended listening sessions. The headphones are available in Platinum and Black
For comfort, Sony added larger cushioned earcups and a wider headband to help distribute pressure more evenly while wearing the headphones.
The 1000X THE COLLEXION delivers a wider, better and more immersive soundstage through a newly developed driver unit with a high-rigidity dome made from unidirectional carbon composite material. The headphones are also the first to feature DSEE Ultimate, Sony’s Edge-AI powered audio enhancement technology that restores detail in compressed music files in real time.
1000X THE COLLEXION uses the same noise cancelling system found in the WH-1000XM6 and it features 12 microphones. Other features include improved call quality, seamless connectivity, and up to 24 hours of battery life.
