Acer Unveils Predator Helios 18 AI, Nitro 16, and Nitro Blaze Link Gaming Handheld

Acer has introduced its newest gaming lineup at Computex 2026, headlined by the Predator Helios 18 AI, the Acer Nitro 16, and the Acer Nitro Blaze Link streaming handheld.

The Predator Helios 18 AI is Acer’s flagship gaming laptop for 2026. It comes with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, up to 256GB DDR5 memory, and up to 6TB storage. It also features an 18-inch Mini LED WQUXGA display with up to 1000 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and a dual-mode display that can switch between 4K at 120Hz and Full HD at 240Hz.

For cooling, the Predator Helios 18 AI uses dual 6th Gen Predator AeroBlade 3D Fans, vector heat pipes, and liquid metal thermal grease. Acer also added its Predator Vox six-speaker audio system, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7, Killer Ethernet, Thunderbolt 5 ports, RGB lighting, and Predator MagKey 4.0 mechanical switches.

Meanwhile, the Acer Nitro 16 is the company’s first gaming laptop to feature up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor. It also comes with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, a WQXGA 16-inch display with up to 240Hz refresh rate, up to 32GB DDR5 memory, and up to 2TB SSD storage.

Acer also introduced the Nitro Blaze Link, a streaming-first handheld device designed to extend an existing PC gaming setup. Unlike a traditional gaming handheld, it focuses on game streaming instead of local processing. It features a 7-inch WUXGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi 6, dual speakers, and a lightweight body at 464 grams.
