Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is one of my favorite wireless earbuds right now in the market as it features great audio quality and also an excellent active noise cancellation. I’ve been using it for weeks now and I truly enjoy it paired with my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.
Excellent audio experience
The best thing I love about the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is its audio quality. It’s a big leap when it comes to audio performance as compared to the previous generation. The trebles are good and the Galaxy Buds Pro does offer a deep base, thanks to its custom-built 2-way speakers.
So if I’m listening to my playlist on Spotify, I can enjoy the audio experience more as the audio on this TWS is really good.
I can focus on my work with Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation
The Active Noise Cancellation on the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has drastically improved. Basically, ANC filters out the background noise so you can focus easily on your work or your music. This is really helpful especially if you want to listen to your Zoom meetings or you just want to block out the noise in your surrounding.
A clear and crisp microphone
In this situation where a lot of us are working at home, having a clear and crisp microphone is now essential for clearer and better communication. With the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, you’ll be very happy with its microphone whether you’re in a Zoom call or just having a regular phone call with friends.
But the microphone is not just for calls, this one can also be used for Ambient sound wherein you don’t have to take your earbuds out when you’re talking to someone as their voices are clear even if you have your earphones on.
360 audio is really immersive
One of the unique features that we have on the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is 360 audio with Dolby head tracking technology. So if you’re watching a movie or TV show, the motion-tracking sensor of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro can pinpoint the direction of the sound even if you move.
This feature makes watching videos on Netflix, or any form of content, more immersive whenever I’m on break.
Excellent battery life
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro may be small but it provides long battery life even when using ANC. Samsung promises a total of 18 hours of total battery life when using ANC and it can go up to 28 hours if the ANC is turned off. Basically, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro can last a single day and in case you run out of battery on the earbuds, you can charge by five minutes and it will give you an hour of usage.
In my experience, I’ve been using the Galaxy Buds Pro and I can use it for a single work day without problems. I usually use it for about 3-4 hours a day and whenever I need more juice on my Galaxy Buds Pro, I charge it for a couple of minutes and I can use it again for hours!
It’s very comfortable
Most of the in-ear buds that I’ve been using are uncomfortable but the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is one of the best TWS earbuds that I’ve used as this one is comfortable and I didn’t experience ear fatigue on the wireless earbuds. There are three ear-tip sizes too just in case the default ones don’t fit well on you.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has been a great partner in my work-from-home setup. It definitely helped me focus on my work and in my meetings but not just that because the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is also perfect for entertainment with its 360 audio and ANC.

If you are looking for an affordable galaxy smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A12 might be part of your list. It’s one of the affordable Samsung phones out there and it’s a budget entry to the Galaxy smartphone ecosystem. Do you want to know more about the smartphone? Check it out in our review below
Samsung Galaxy A12 Review: Design and hardware
When it comes to design, the Samsung Galaxy A12 does have a solid feel but is it good? Well, it’s a plastic one but I can tell that it’s solid enough but not as premium as other smartphones. It also has a textured back at the upper part of the smartphone while the lower part comes with a smooth plastic feel which isn’t that bad.
The smartphone does come with a weight but it does add to the solid feel of the smartphone. It still is ergonomic despite its weight thanks to the curved sides of the smartphone and the smartphone’s size just fits perfectly in my hand.
For the port, we got here a USB-C port below the smartphone just beside the headphone jack. For the USB-C port, the smartphone supports 15W charging so it will take some time before you can fully charge the smartphone.
As for the power button, it’s placed on the right just below the volume rocker. The power button also houses the fingerprint scanner of the smartphone which is fast enough for my usage. The positioning on the right is also perfect for my hand.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Review: Display
Despite being the manufacturer of the best AMOLED displays on the smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A12 only features an IPS display which is why the colors of the display is inferior compared to the other Galaxy smartphones.
But don’t worry because the display of the Galaxy A12 isn’t really bad. It’s good enough even for using it under direct sunlight. The display is also large enough at 6.5-inch with an HD+ resolution. There’s a notch at the top too and thankfully, the bezels on the smartphone aren’t thick.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Review: Battery
The battery of the smartphone is where the Samsung Galaxy A12 really shines. There’s a 5000mAh battery inside the smartphone and we got a pretty good score of 14 hours and 36 minutes in our PC Mark test. In our normal usage, the smartphone would last more than a day of usage at an average use.
But again, charging the smartphone with its 15W charger may take some time before we can fully charge it. Most of the time, I charge the smartphone before going to sleep.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Review: Performance & Software
For its processor, the Samsung Galaxy A12 comes with a dated Helio P35 processor which is more than a year old already. The smartphone’s processor might be capable of running different apps and games but it’s definitely not the most powerful at its price range.
If you’re just using basic applications like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and the likes then this one wouldn’t have any problems but you might experience slowdowns and lags when multi-tasking a lot of applications on the smartphones. For the benchmarks, the Samsung Galaxy A12 is definitely not the best one:

Screenshot 20210225 200602 Geekbench 5
Screenshot 20210225 203406 AnTuTu Benchmark
It can play basic games such as Mobile Legends but don’t expect to run heavier games on the smartphone. But it’s pretty good enough to run games like League of Legends: Wild Rift as the smartphone can reach up to 60 fps on this one.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Review: Camera
As for the camera, the Samsung Galaxy A12 comes with a quad-camera lens. It comes with a 48MP main camera, 5MP ultra wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone’s camera can perform well in well-lit conditions and surprisingly, I didn’t expect that the ultra wide-angle lens of the smartphone would also perform in my expectations. Both lenses perform well in the color department but as expected, shooting at ultrawide provides fewer details.
Check out some of my shots on the smartphone:

Samsung Galaxy A12 Review: Verdict
Overall, the smartphone does offer a long battery life and just a decent camera but the smartphone’s processor is already dated which makes it less powerful compared to other smartphones but if you’re looking for a Samsung smartphone with an affordable price tag then you might want to consider this one, The Samsung Galaxy A12.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Specs
6.5-inch PLS IPS HD+ Display
Helio P35 Octa-Core processor
4GB/6GB RAM
128GB Internal storage expandable via MicroSD
48MP main camera + +5MP Ultrawide camera + 2MP macro camera + 2MP depth sensor
