Acer Predator Triton 14 AI launched at COMPUTEX 2025

Acer has officially introduced the Predator Triton 14 AI , a light and powerful 14.5-inch laptop designed for creators, gamers, and students. It is packed with a premium OLED display, and AI-powered features.

Weighing just 1.6 kg and measuring 17.31 mm thin, the Predator Triton 14 AI features a slim aluminum chassis and a polished silver hinge. Under the hood, the Predator Triton 14 AI is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. It supports up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD.

The Triton 14 AI boasts a 14.5-inch WQXGA+ OLED display (2880 x 1800) that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and touch support, ensuring smooth visuals and intuitive interaction for both work and entertainment.

The laptop includes a buttonless haptic Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad that supports stylus input. The included active stylus supports AES 2.0, USI 2.0, and MPP 2.5 with 4,096 pressure levels.

The Predator Triton 14 AI uses graphene thermal interface materials for a 14.5% boost in thermal capacity over traditional grease. Dual 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans and Acer’s Vortex Flow cooling system efficiently manage heat.

HUAWEI MateBook Fold is a foldable 18” all-screen laptop

HUAWEI has just unveiled their first foldable laptop with an unfolded 18” display with HarmonyOS 5 PC inside. This device can be used in different modes similar to other foldable PC out there in the market. You can also use a wireless keyboard with it similar to the Lenovo YogaBook and the ASUS Zenbook Duo.

The HUAWEI MateBook Fold has an 18” display but it can folds into a size of a 13” laptop. As for the display, it comes with an OLED LTPO display with 92% screen-to-body ratio with a 3.3K resolution and a 1600nits of peak brightness.

As for the hardware inside, there’s a 32GB of RAM inside along with an up to 2TB SSD. There’s support for Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi, 2x USB port, and a fingerprints scanner. Unfortunately, HUAWEI didn’t detail the processor of the device which is expected as HUAWEI has always been quiet about the processor on their devices especially their own ones.

The HUAWEI MateBook Fold weighs at just 1.16kg and measures at just 7.3mm when unfolded and 14.9mm when folded. It also comes with an integrated kickstand and six speakers as well so you can use it anywhere. As for the wireless keyboard, it comes with a touchpad and full keyboard keys with it.

The HUAWEI MateBook Fold will come in Black, Blue, and White and it starts at CNY 26,999. It also comes with the Ultimate design edition at a more expensive price.

Realme is set to unveil its latest flagship smartphone—the realme GT 7—on May 27, 2025, during a global launch event in Paris, France. The smartphone will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor.

The Dimensity 9400e chipset boasts a 2.25 million+ AnTuTu benchmark score. The chip features a next-gen X4 prime core, manufactured using the same process as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but the MediaTek chip will have a higher clock speeds.

realme has also equipped the GT 7 with its latest GT Boost technology, allowing up to 120FPS gaming across 20 globally popular mobile titles. The realme GT 7 will launch globally on May 27.

Samsung has officially revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge, a new addition to the Galaxy S family. It combines the flagship performance with an ultra-slim design at just 5.8mm thin and weighing 163g.

The smartphone is housed in a titanium frame with curved edges. The device also features Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for enhanced durability. Its sleek form factor makes it one of the most portable premium smartphones ever released by Samsung.

The Galaxy S25 Edge sports a 200MP wide main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. No telephoto lens in here though. Galaxy AI editing tools, such as Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist, are built in.
