Qualcomm unveils Quick Charge 3+to Snapdragon 765 devices

For those people who really want to have a Quick Charge functionality for their mid-range smartphone, well, Qualcomm has a surprise for all of you as the company has just announced that the Quick Charge 3+ will be available for the Snapdragon 765 and the Snapdragon 765G chipsets.

So what can we expect from Quick Charge 3+? Well, we can now have faster charging on a smartphone as we can charge the smartphone from 0% to 50% in just 15 minutes which is 35% faster and 9-degrees Celsius cooler compared to the previous generations.

Not only that, because it will also support USB-A to USB-C cables and it’s backward compatible with previous Quick Charge devices. Thankfully, you don’t need to buy something for your smartphone as the Snapdragon 765 and 765G is already for this one.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Unveiled: 48MP main camera with 50x zoom and Snapdragon 765G

Xiaomi has just unveiled a brand new powerful smartphone in their Mi 10 series and it’s the Mi 10 Youth. Unlike its bigger brothers, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor and it will have a 6.57-inch AMOLED display but unfortunately, there’s no mention of higher refresh rate on this one.

Facebook has just introduced Messenger Rooms which is perfect to compete against Zoom which is getting popular since the lockdown has been in place as a lot of people are working from home.

With Messenger rooms, you can create a room so you can invite anyone to join the video call even though they do not have a Facebook account. The Messenger rooms can handle up to 50 people with no time limit. The messenger rooms are perfect for this pandemic as you can talk to 50 people without any limit at the same time.

If you’re worried about your background, Messenger rooms also allow you to play with AR effects in where you can add some effects like bunny ears to your video and of course, change your backgrounds and mood lighting. Samsung 321 App now features a COVID-19 hotline

If you are a Samsung smartphone user, the Samsung 321 app now comes with a new update in where it includes a COVID-19 hotline number to aid users for any concerns and emergencies related to the global pandemic.

The app was launched in 2016 and it enables quick access to the current list of 900 validated emergency contact numbers and also locations that are organized in categories such as medical assistance, Red Cross, Police stations, Fire Stations, National Disaster Hotlines, and Motor and Traffic Assistance.

And now, there’s a dedicated COVID-19 emergency button that displays the Department of Health and Red Cross’ COVID-19 hotlines. The contacts for the Department of Health, Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Red Cross have been updated as well.
