Samsung Mobile Unpacked Teaser: Something big, very big!

Ever thought that your 4″ phone is too big for your hand?. Then think again, Samsung will be announcing a new phone at IFA 2011 at Berlin this September 9 that is way bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung I9250. This phone will have a 4.65″ Super AMOLED HD with 1280 x 720 resolution (Samsung Galaxy S II has 4.3 Super AMOLED Plus with 800 x 480 resolution). That resolution is even bigger than some netbooks available around the market right now.

Something big is coming
 
Look at the picture very closely. You’ll notice that the two fingers of that guys is on the back of the phone. Thats how big the phone is. It also rumored that this phone will be using Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Yes, that OS hasn’t been released yet. So what do you think guys?, is this the Next Nexus phone? or the Galaxy S III. Well, Time will tell.

Cherry Mobile offers phones from different price range. They have phones starting at P700 up to P14,000. And there is one phone that catches my attention, the Cherry Mobile Eclipse 2.2. Why? because this phone is using Android 2.2 (froyo) & it has a dual sim feature but you can get it for only PHP5,000. Pretty amazing huh?. Too bad the processor is clock at 416 MHz.

Google will acquire Motorola Mobility for a whooping $12.5 Billion. Google bought Motorola Mobility (Not the entire Motorola just the Mobile division). Some of Motorola’s Android devices are Motorola Defy, Motorola Atrix and Motorola Xoom. 


Google said that Android will remain open and Motorola Mobility won’t see a merger and it will still remain as a separate business. They bought Motorola for one thing — to defend Android from Patent wars. Don’t worry if you’re a Samsung, HTC, Sony Ericsson or LG users. The CEO of those companies supported the acquisition of Motorola Mobility

Google+ games was recently launched by Google a few days ago and today, I just got an access to it! thanks to JC of Gameshogun. Google+ Games is still on limited access only so if you got in, you’re a lucky guy. There are only a few games available right now but most of them might be familiar to you like Angry Birds, Bejeweled & Zynga Poker 

Angry Birds on Google+
 The UI of Google+ games is cleaner compared to Facebook. They also said that it will not clutter your Google+ Notifications and Stream.
Compete with your friend’s score

This phone features a Dual-Sim easy swap just like the Nokia C2-00, You can easily swap SIM cards without turning off the cellphone. This phone also belongs to the Touch & type family.
