Macbook white in the philippines, now updated
Yesterday, I’ve posted about the update for polycarbonate macbook. And now, apple just updated the specifications here in the philippines. And STILL, it has the same price. And I’ve notice something about battery life…

The specifications of the new macbook white is still the same with the specifications in US. The new processor which is Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz, 120GB HDD, DDR2 2GB ram & GeForce 9400m. The price haven’t change a bit too.
But I notice something a while ago. I notice the battery life of the white macbook is shorter than the aluminum macbook. The battery life of the white macbook only lasts up to 4.5 hours of wireless productivity maybe its because of the new video card installed to it which is GeForce 9400m . While the aluminum macbook lasts up to 5 hours of wireless productivity. Anyway, 4.5 hours of wireless productivity is still not bad
So, what would you choose?. The aluminum macbook with 5 hours of wireless productivity? or a White macbook with 4.5 hours of wireless productivity?. And hey, white macbooks has mini DVI instead of the mini display port & it has a FIREWIRE which people hate about the aluminum macbook since most macbook users uses the firewire.
Did apple just update the polycarbonate macbook?
You see that picture?, Did apple just update the white macbook? O_O. Yep, they QUIETLY update white macbook and its specifications is similar with the aluminum macbook. They just equipped the white macbook with GeForce 9400m, 2 gigs of ram which is DDR2, 2.0 ghz processor (I’m not sure if it is also P8400) but the hard disk remains at 120 GB.

Too bad, the online store philippines haven’t update their white macbook’s specification. I think they will just update it by a few days. BTW, even though the specifications have change the price didn’t go up nor it didn’t go down. And I notice that instead that it will be shipped in 24 hours they changed it to 4-6 business days, maybe they will still reconfigured it.
A lot of people were disappointed of the aluminum macbook because of its glossy screen and its expensive price. And there is no option for the glossy screen but the 17″ inch macbook pro has. Nice move apple, many people hate glossy screens
PS3 2.60 firmware update is now available | new features
PS3’s newest firmware update is now available which is version 2.60. And there are some new features in it.

Remember Emil Chronicle online?,one of the games which was announced by Level up!. Emil chronicle is one of the cute games I’ve seen and Until now, I’m wondering why the english version of ECO or Emil Chronicle online is not yet released

I visited the Runup’s Emil Chronicle online website and it haven’t change a bit. Until now, it still says that the english version will be coming last year, 2008. But until now, I don’t see any signs of close beta.
I hope that there will be a english version soon and I hope that the game will be release this year.
GTA IV Dashboard Camera Modification
This modification enables you to use the dashboard camera view while you are in a car. But some of cars don’t look that good when you use this view.

AMD Athlon X2 7750 Price in the Philippines.
One of the processors that I cannot wait to be release here in the philippines is AMD Athlon X2 7750. Because its performance is almost on par with Intel Core 2 Duo E7300.

those prices are from PC HUB which can be found at gilmore. As you can see, AMD is cheaper than the Intel C2D E7300. But another processors from AMD will be coming here, the Phenom II processors which supports both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM. Too bad The Phenom II processors will not take on the Intel i7 core. They said that the performance of the Phenom II processors is between the intel i7 and the intel quad core 9xxx series.
