Today, PHil announced the new Macbook pro 17″. Too bad they did not refresh the mac mini or the iMac. But anyway, let’s look at the specifications and the new features of the new macbook pro 17″

Its design is almost similar to the macbook and macbook pro 15″ . Macbook pro 17″ is the slimmest of all 17″ and it has a amazing 8 hours of battery life which can be charged 1000 times which is 3x the lifespan of the standard batteries but like what I said in my previous post the batteries cannnot be removed to keep its slim design. Some of its features are also in the previous macbooks like the glass trackpad, design & the video cards.

Mac mini or Macbook pro 17″ at macworld?
Almost 2 days is left and the last Macworld will begin. Steve Jobs will no longer announce the keynote. But what do you expect at macworld 2009. Do you want a Mac mini or a Macbook pro 17″ for the macworld?.

There are some rumours that there will be a new macbook pro 17″ and a new mac mini.
Engadget said that the new mac mini will be equipped with the nVidia chipset which was also use in the macbook. The mac mini is now also equipped with a aluminum casing like the macbook & the macbook pro and it has also a mini display port, Mini DVI connector and a SATA optical drive for the second HDD
While the macbook pro 17″ is now unibody like the macbook and the macbook pro and it is expected to be slim, extended life and last but not the least the non removable battery which is very disappointing. But hey, The macworld 2009 haven’t started yet so don’t be sad and lonely.

Final Fantasy Dissidia english version
One of the games that I love is Final Fantasy. And one of the games that I can’t wait is Final fantasy Dissidia english version which will be available on Playstation Portable or PSP. Final fantasy Dissidia is now released but the only language that is available is japanese. So I still have to wait for the english version.

STORY
In Dissidia, there is an ongoing conflict between two gods: Chaos, the god of discord, and Cosmos, the goddess of harmony.
