Microsoft might push Surface Neo release to 2021

According to ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley, the Dual-screen device Surface Neo might be pushed back to 2021 along with its operating system, the Windows 10X. Panos Panay, Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer has told their team that they won’t be able to deliver Windows 10X and the Surface Neo before the year ends.

Windows 10X is the operating system made by Microsoft for dual-screen devices it was unveiled last year. One of the first Windows 10X device is the Surface Neo and it was actually expected to launch this Holiday 2020.

The delay is probably due to the coronavirus pandemic and not only that, but Microsoft is also planning on prioritizing Windows 10X to run on single-screen devices.
