Galaxy S23 series users can now access an optimized 2x zoom mode through the default Camera app, setting a new standard for smartphone photography. This isn’t just an ordinary crop; Samsung emphasizes that the added 2x zoom toggle is designed to provide an elevated experience.
Optical Quality Crop Zoom
The newly updated Camera Assistant, featuring version 1.1.03.1, can be conveniently downloaded from Samsung’s dedicated Galaxy Store. The tech giant proudly promotes this innovation as an ‘Optical Quality Crop Zoom.’ In essence, this innovative feature operates by applying a crop on the sensor level, utilizing the capabilities of the primary camera.
