Apple has announced today a new and more affordable Apple Pencil. It’s a more affordable Apple Pencil that has some features that is lacking from the Apple Pencil 2nd generation but it does have USB-C charging so you can use any new Apple charger with it.

The Apple Pencil with USB-C port is compatible with all iPad models with a USB-C port, including iPad (10th generation), iPad Air (4th and 5th generations), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th generations), and iPad mini (6th generation).

Unlike the other Apple Pencils that are already out in the market, this one doesn’t support Pressure sensitivity but it does have a magnet that attaches to the newer iPads and also Apple Pencil Hover for the iPad Pro.

The USB-C port of the Apple Pencil is hidden in the top part of the Pencil. Unfortunately, you cannot charge the Apple Pencil wirelessly.
The Apple Pencil with USB-C will be available in the Philippines for Php 4,990.
