iPhone Fold, A19-powered MacBook, and AirTag 2 hinted in the Leaked iOS 26 code

0

A new leak from an early internal build of iOS 26 has revealed that Apple may be working on more than 30 unreleased devices, including the first foldable iPhone, a second-generation AirTag 2, updates to Macs and iPads, and several home and wearable products. The information comes from code found in the software of a prototype device that surfaced online earlier this month.

According to the leaked data tied to internal codenames, Apple’s roadmap for 2026 and beyond could include new iPhones, such as iPhone 17e, iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, and the long-rumored iPhone Fold, which is expected to be Apple’s first foldable smartphone. The foldable device may feature a wide book-style form factor similar to other Android rivals and could introduce under-screen camera and Touch ID as well.

The leak also points to refreshed iPads, including larger iPad Air models powered by M4 Chip, and a range of new Macs such as A18-powered affordable MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air variants with next-generation Apple silicon chips. Home devices like a new Apple TV, refreshed HomePod mini, and smart home accessories are also referenced in the internal code.

Wearables are not left out, with future Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 models listed, as well as entries for spatial devices like Vision Air and second-generation Vision Pro units. Some codenames remain unlinked to known products, indicating there may be even more surprises in the pipeline.

Apple has not confirmed any of the leaked details, and exact release windows are unknown, but the list of the leak suggests a busy product cycle ahead through 2026 and beyond as the company continues to expand its hardware ecosystem.

The Pocket Play looks like a regular smartphone at first, but sliding the screen upward reveals a full set of physical controls. These include ABXY buttons, a D-pad, shoulder buttons, and dedicated gaming controls that allow users to play more comfortably compared to touchscreen-only setups. It is a modern take on a concept that blends daily phone use with console-style gaming.

Abxylute’s M4 Snap-On magnetic controller debuts on Kickstarter for on-the-go gaming

Abxylute has officially launched the M4 Snap-On Mobile Controller on Kickstarter. It’s an ultra-compact gaming accessory that magnetically attaches to the back of your smartphone for console-style play on the go. Unlike traditional clamp-style controllers, the M4 uses magnets to snap securely onto phones with MagSafe or Qi2-compatible magnetic rings, including iPhones and newer Android devices. And Abxylute includes magnetic adhesive rings for devices without built-in magnets.

Weighing just around 56 grams, the M4 is designed to stay pocket-friendly while still giving you dual thumbsticks, a D-pad, ABXY buttons, shoulder triggers, and navigation controls. This is all in a familiar handheld layout beneath your screen. It connects over Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless play and is compatible with a wide range of devices, from iOS and Android phones to PCs and even the Nintendo Switch for cloud or native gaming.

The built-in rechargeable battery is rated for roughly 12–13 hours of playtime, making it suitable for longer sessions whether you’re cloud gaming, emulating classics, or playing mobile titles with controller support. Because the M4 snaps on magnetically, you can also detach it and use it as a standalone wireless controller when needed.

Abxylute M4 Snap-On features:

• Magnetic snap-on design for MagSafe/Qi2 phones (with adapter rings for other devices)
• Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity
• Dual thumbsticks, D-pad, ABXY buttons, and triggers
• Ultra-lightweight at ~56 g
• 12–13 hours of battery life
• Available in multiple colors, with more coming through stretch goals

The Kickstarter campaign launched on November 13, 2025, with early-bird pricing starting at around $39, making it significantly more affordable than other magnetic mobile controllers on the market. The campaign has already surpassed its funding goal, reflecting strong demand from mobile gamers looking for a pocket-ready controller that feels like a true handheld console.

The M4 Snap-On magnetic controller is now available to back on Kickstarter.
