Apple has just introduced their newest tablet in the market and it’s the new iPad! The new iPad comes with all new colors and the best part is that the iPad now supports Magic Keyboard Folio, a new and cheaper keyboard with a trackpad that is made especially for the iPad.
Aside from that, the new iPad comes with A14 Bionic chip and of course, there’s the USB-C port which makes all the iPads now supports USB-C port for charging and transfer of files.
For the display, the tablet comes with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina and finally, there’s no more home button on this one as it now comes with a landscape orientation and also a landscape camera. But of course, there’s only Touch ID similar to the iPad Air.
The A14 Bionic isn’t new as this one is also used by the iPhone 12 series smartphones. It’s still a decent one and a powerful one as well. For the camera, it comes with a 12MP sensor on both the front and the back camera which gives us a better quality on video calls.
Other features include 5G connectivity and also WiFi 6 for better connection and download speeds on the device. There will still be support for physical SIM cards and also eSIM. However, the iPad still supports 1st generation Apple Pencil and to charge it, you’ll have to buy USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter which is really confusing.
The iPad 10th Generation will come in Blue, Pink, Silver, and yellow and it will come in 64GB or 256GB variants. Here’s the variants and pricing of the tablet:
It’s just been weeks since the announcement of the first HONOR products to arrive in the Philippines post-pandemic and now, HONOR Philippines has just officially announced that the HONOR 70 will arrive in the Philippines soon.
The HONOR 70 is a mid-range smartphone but it does look like and feel like a flagship smartphone. It’s definitely one of the best-looking smartphones in the market right now as we got here a glass design on the smartphone with diamond patterns at the back.
The ergonomics on the smartphone are really great as well thanks to the curves at the back and its sleek and thin body. The combination of the great materials used on the smartphone and also its also perfect design curves makes the smartphone really handy to hold.
We also got here two protruding round camera modules that resembles the design of the Huawei P50 Pro that we’ve reviewed before. Nonetheless, it gives us the impression that the smartphone is really focused on the camera because of this.
Below the smartphone is where you can find the USB-C port and also the speaker grill and also the card tray. The USB-C port of the smartphone supports 66W charging which is already faster even compared to other flagship smartphones. As for the fingerprint scanner, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner which is fast enough.
For the display, the HONOR 70 comes with a 6.67-inch OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and also a Full HD+ resolution. There are the curved sides as well which makes the smartphone look like a flagship one.
As for the quality of the display, we did love its quality and the colors that we’re getting. It’s very responsive as well and playing games on the smartphone gave us a smooth feel and experience which we definitely love as well.
Inside the smartphone is a mid-range processor. We got here a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor inside and it’s a very decent and powerful one. It’s still not on the same level as the Snapdragon 8 series brothers but we were able to play games like Genshin Impact on the smartphone and also Apex Legends.
The camera of the smartphone is one of its biggest features. HONOR is marketing the smartphone as made for vlogging thanks to its powerful camera. The main camera of the smartphone is a 54MP main camera with Sony IMX800 sensor inside, one of the best in the industry. And then there’s the 50MP Ultra-wide camera and Macro camera as well. Both the main camera and the ultra-wide camera of the smartphone fared pretty well.

Definitely not the best shots that we’ve seen but the smartphone definitely reached our expectations considering its specifications. The selfie camera of the smartphone is a 32MP camera and for its quality, well, it’s not sharp enough but definitely will do the job for taking selfies and for posting them on Instagram or TikTok.
Verdict
The HONOR 70 is a nice addition to the market in the growing premium mid-range market. The design of the smartphone is top-notch and it does feel like a flagship smartphone and then there’s decent power as well with its optimized performance thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor inside. Lastly, there’s the camera. It’s great but it’s not perfect and doesn’t have the same quality as other flagship smartphones in the market.
Overall, we did love our experience with the smartphone as it performed better than expected and the design and display of the smartphone are the features that we really love. There might not be a flagship-level processor inside but for everyday usage, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor is more than enough.
