Samsung has finally made it official. The next Samsung Galaxy S series will launch this January 22 at San Jose, California. Samsung has already teased the arrival of the next evolution of their Galaxy AI and also more mobile AI experiences on the smartphone.

While there were leaks before of what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S25 series including sporting the same look for the camera layout and also have a rounded edges, we’re still not sure what new AI features will arrive on the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch this January 22 at 6PM GMT.

ASUS announces Zephyrus G14 and G16 2025

At CES 2025, ASUS has also unveiled the Zephyrus G14 and G16 2025 with an updated specifications inside. These laptops will be sporting an Nvidia GPU along with AMD and Intel processors inside. They will also come with the ROG Nebula Display with OLED panel to make it more vivid.

Lenovo Legion Go S: the first third-party SteamOS handheld

Lenovo has just announced their newest handheld device under the Legion lineup and no, this isn’t the successor to the Legion Go as the Lenovo Legion Go S comes with a smaller display and a non-removable controller and this time, it’s now powered by SteamOS inside.

This is the first third-party SteamOS device aside from the Steam Deck and for its price, $499, this is a perfect competitor to the Steam Deck. The Lenovo Legion Go S comes with 1.6 pounds of weight and it comes with 2x USB 4 ports along with 55Wh battery.

Lenovo is also putting in an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor inside or a Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor for the Lenovo Legion GO S and it will come with 8” display inside with 120Hz refresh rate. Of course there’s microSD card inside and it will only weigh at 730g.

The Lenovo Legion Go S is powered by Steam OS and it will come with 16GB/512GB memory inside for $499 and $599 for the 16GB/1TB variant which will ship this May. A 32GB/1TB variant with Windows inside is expected as well this month.

ASUS has just announced the ASUS Zenbook A14, their newest and lightest 14″ Copilot+ PC ever and it running on Snapdragon X Series chipset from Qualcomm. Just like their other Zenbook, this laptop will be rocking a Ceraluminum build which we encountered before on a Zenbook.

The ASUS Zenbook A14 comes with Snapdragon X Series processor inside with a 70Wh battery. ASUS is promising a 45 TOPs performance with its Hexagon APU for AI task and it also promises a 32 hours of battery on continuous video playback.

For the hardware side, the ASUS Zenbook A14 comes with 14-inch Full HD OLED display along with the ports that you need including 2x USB 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1x HDMI, and Audio Jack.

The affordable Redmi 14C 5G is now official

Xiaomi has just unveiled their newest affordable smartphone, the Redmi 14C that features the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor inside and it packs a 120Hz inside. The smartphone also features a 6.74″ display with an HD+ resolution which is a bummer but hey, this is an affordable smartphone so this is kind of expected.

As for the chip inside, it’s a Qualcomm Snadragon 4 Gen 2 chip inside which is the first 4nm chip in the 4 series family and inside there’s a 4/6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64/128GB inside. As for the camera, there’s the 50MP main camera along with an 8 MP selfie camera. For the battery, there’s the 5160mAh battery inside and support for 18W.

It will be available in India this January 10.

The HONOR X9c 5G is expected to launch this January 10 and we’re definitely excited for this as the smartphone gets even tougher compared to the previous generation. If you’ve been following me on Instagram and our Facebook page, I’ve recently shared the knife test, drop test and even a boiling test of the HONOR X9c 5G!

But in case you’re wondering, how did HONOR managed to achieve such feat on their smartphone? Well, here are the reasons why the HONOR X9c 5G is ultra tough.

Super Double Tempered Glass on both sides

The HONOR X9c 5G comes with a tempered glass not only on the front but also on the camera module which makes it tough has a 360-degree drop resistance for up to two meters. The glass that they’re using is durable which makes the smartphone drop resistant and also scratch-resistant. HONOR has also tested it and it survived the surfaces drop test on marble, cobblestone, gravel, asphalt, etc.

There’s a 3-layer Water Resistant Structure

One of the reasons why the HONOR X9c 5G can survive underwater and even at boiling water thanks to its new protection. It comes with a first layer that is an external leakage port protection while there’s the second layer protection for the USB rubber sleeve and double sealing ribs as well. Lastly, there’s the third layer protection for board level and software protection with foam and waterproof detection plus software protection.

This three-layer sealing structure of the HONOR X9c 5G makes the smartphone not only water resistant but also boil-resistant as well.

Shock-absorbing material

The HONOR X9c 5G also comes with shock-absorbing materials that can reduce the impact whenever you drop the smartphone. The smartphone has a gap between the screen and the middle frame which will help reduce the impact of the hard supporting objects of the middle frame on the screen.

We’ve seen how tough the HONOR X9a and X9b before but it’s definitely good to see that the X9c is even tougher thanks to its added protection inside. In our test, we were definitely happy with how tough the smartphone is.

The ASUS RT-BE58U might appear similar to past networking devices from the Taiwanese brand, but it boast a sophisticated, modern profile with sleek lines and a matte finish that gives it enough presence without being too flashy–perfect for a minimalist-themed office or bedroom. The LED light indicators likewise are subtle enough but still give users a quick view on the status of their networks.

Powerful Performance with Wi-Fi 7

With Wi-Fi 7 being recently introduced in mainstream consumer devices, the ASUS RT-BE58U is no exception, featuring up to 2,882 Mbps network transfer speeds on its 5GHz Wi-Fi 7 band.
