realme TechLife partner brand DIZO will launch in the PH this month

The newest brand under the realme TechLife will be launching later this month. The DIZO brand wants to offer tech products that can provide the needs of the Filipino consumers. Being the partner brand, DIZO will offer the consumers three key aspects: industrial design, supply chain and an all-around AIoT experience.

The DIZO products will still be able to sync with the realme Link app and Filipinos can still expect the same quality and manufacturing standards that realme has been known for, but it will still have a different identity from realme. So what are the products under the DIZO brand of realme TechLife series?

First, there are the audio products under the brand and these are the DIZO GoPods, GoPods D, GoPods Neo, Buds Z and the DIZO Wireless. These are audio products that are best paired with your smartphone or tablet. These are affordable as they are priced as follow:

The new contactless service lets OPPO users within the NCR send their devices to OPPO Service Centers using the courier of their choice.

OPPO also said they came up with this customer-centric service, as they understand ‘the difficulties and the anxiety’ of consumers whenever they must go out these days. In addition, through this service, OPPO provides users with a safer and more convenient way to have their devices checked.

How to submit your Send-in Repair Request at the OPPO Service Website or MyOPPO
  • Go to the OPPO support website
  • Head to OPPO’s Convenient Services for Send-in Repair
  • Fill out the required details with accurate information
  • Submit application
  • View your send-in repair order and the information for the service center where you should send your OPPO product for repair
  • Ship your device to the nearest OPPO service center

Meanwhile, you can also submit a request through the MyOPPO app using the same steps.

Once your devices have been checked, the OPPO service center will ship the unit back to your address. OPPO will also cover the expense of returning the item to you.

Looks like we’re getting the first look at the realme 9 Pro series this February 16 as the company has just announced that they’ll be officially unveiling the realme 9 Pro series globally.

Google, together with FYT, recently held a webinar called #FYTCOVID19: Fighting vaccine misinformation, educating Filipinos about fact-checking tools to fight fake news about vaccines.

During the webinar, the organizations also share valuable tips to help verify COVID-19 and vaccine information online.

Here are some tips from FYT and Google:

Use Google Search operators

To find exact results, enclose Search queries in quotation marks. Meanwhile, adding the “+” and “-“ symbols between two terms will include or exclude related matches, respectively. Users can also limit results from a specific website by using “site:” or view results from a specific time range by choosing “custom range” in the Tools option.

Confirm when a post was uploaded

When you see a post on social media, determine the date and time by selecting “inspect.” This provides you with more precise upload details. Meanwhile, you can also use InVid to verify YouTube videos’ exact local upload time.

Use reverse image research

You can also Google Image Search, Yandex, Bing, Tineye, and Reveye to verify the original source of an image. Users can also go to InVid’s verification plugin to extract multiple keyframes of videos and do a reverse image search.

Identify the geolocation and observe details when watching videos

Noting street layouts, statues and monuments, architectural details, street signs and shopfronts, license plates, terrains, and topographies will also verify if an incident took place where it claims to happen.

You can also use the apostrophe and period kids to advance or reverse frame by frame to see each detail when watching videos. When listening, you can also pick out place names, accents, and dialects.

Maximize Google Maps

When you see a landmark but are not sure where its location is, you can use Google Maps’ Street View. It also allows users to see the old street view of the exact location through the “historical view” function.
