Huawei is going all out with HarmonyOS as the company has just unveiled HarmonyOS 2.0 devices including the Huawei Watch 3 that comes with a premium titanium body and also a 3-day battery life.

The Huawei Watch 3 comes with a 3D rotating crown instead of a button that we’ve seen on their previous watch. There’s the 1.43″ AMOLED panel too which gives us a 1000 nits brightness which will give you a bright display even at outside.

The Watch is also water-resistant at up to 5 ATM and it comes with 12.15mm thickness and it only weighs 54g. The Huawei Watch 3 also comes with different features including 4G thanks to the eSIM so you can do calls and even stream music through Huawei Music directly on the watch and connect your Bluetooth earphones. There’s no camera on this one but it supports video calls.

Sensors included on the watch are heart rate sensor, blood oxygen tracker, and skin temperature. Like before, it has sleep tracking and 24/7 stress tracking on the watch. You can also do workouts with this as the watch supports 100 modes including 17 professional workout modes since this one also supports GPS and GLONASS.

There’s the Huawei Watch 3 Pro too with a better classic watch look. The watch is made of titanium with a ceramic back similar to the Watch GT 2 Pro that we’ve reviewed before.It has a longer battery life and it supports 4G and it’s one of the watches that supports dual-band GPS receiver.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 7 recently concluded with a new champion, as Blacklist International pulled off an epic comeback to win the title.

After challenging years, OhMyV33nus, Wise Ch4knu, and Zp4knu of Blacklist International won their first crown after delivering a never-say-die attitude in the finals.

The Grand Finals match was initially led 3-0 by Execration, but Blacklist International delivered an amazing 4-3 comeback to bring home the crown.

Fans were all out, too, as the grand finale recorded a peak concurrent view of 1.41 million.

Blacklist International also defeated the defending champion Bren Esports (3-2) and Aura PH (3-1) before stepping into the finals.

PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) rolled out the Philippines’ first carbon fiber cell site towers on urban rooftops to strengthen their network.

Known for being over 10x lighter than steel towers, IsoTruss carbon fiber towers are compliant with the National Building Code and are much easier to transport and install. It also requires almost no maintenance as this cutting-edge tower is made of non-corrosive materials.

With this, carbon fiber towers are ideal to be deployed on rooftops and coastal sites for they have a good impact on the environment. In fact, it contributes less carbon dioxide and occupies less land area.

BEEFING UP PLDT AND SMART’S NETWORK ROLLOUT

PLDT and Smart, on the other hand, explained that this will beef up their LTE and 5G rollout, especially in key areas where the demand for their network expansion is skyrocketing. These technologies also require lighter tower solutions that can support equipment, while still operating at full capacity.

This carbon fiber tower rollout is a part of PLDT and Smart’s effort to expand their network across the country. Currently, Smart’s mobile network covers 96% of the population, ranging from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi.

Meanwhile, PLDT’s fiber infrastructure is the country’s most extensive at more than 478,000 kilometers as of end-March 2021.

Samsung Exynos Chip with AMD RDNA2 GPU is coming later this year

Last year, Samsung has announced that they’ll be bringing AMD’s graphics technology to their smartphones soon, and finally, Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, has announced that their RDNA2 GPU is coming to the Exynos Chip later this year.

With this technology, we’ll be seeing features like ray tracing, variable rate shading, and of course, better power efficiency. The RDNA2 architecture from AMD is also used in AMD Radeon RX 6000 Graphics that we can see on the desktops and laptops. This is also the same architecture that was used for PS5 and the Xbox Series S and Series X.

Earlier this year, Samsung has unveiled the Exynos 2100 which is a leap in performance compared to the previous generation as the processor now uses Cortex-X1 cores instead of their Mongoose cores. On our gaming review of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G with Exynos 2100 inside, we saw a big improvement in performance and gaming.
