The Surface Pro 7 is expected to be unveiled at Microsoft’s Surface event on October 2. The upcoming Surface Pro 7 is also expected to sport Intel’s latest 10th generation processors. Based on the previous Surface Pro devices, the Surface Pro 7 could sport the 14nm++ Comet Lake CPUs while the 10nm Ice Lake CPUs are reserved for the “rumored” Surface Laptop 3.
WinFuture managed to get all of the Surface Pro 7’s configurations available for the Europe Market. These configurations will probably be the same for the US market too. According to the leak, the Surface Pro 7’s base config will have an Intel Core i3 CPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD Storage, compared to last gen’s Intel Core i5 base model.
Surface Pro 7 Configurations
Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD

Considering the Intel Core i3 base model, the Surface Pro 7 could have a starting price of $600 USD. This makes the Surface Pro 7 a compelling option since the Surface Pro 6 i5 base model starts at $899. Pricing for the type cover could still set you back at $130.
We have yet to see the final specifications of the upcoming Surface Pro 7 and if Microsoft is bringing something new to the table aside from a bump in internal specs.

Steam has been under the bus lately with some of its triple-A titles being grabbed by Epic Games Store. The most recent triple-A title snatched from steam is Borderlands 3. But that didn’t stop the gaming platform to improve on itself despite its launch title losses. On September 17, Valve announced a new look of its Steam Library Beta. Let’s take a look at what’s new.
A NEW LANDING PAGE
Take the landing page as a mixture of the picture only mode and list mode which can be previously toggled on the upper right-hand corner. The main highlight of the new landing page is the Netflix style of curating your library. It also shows what’s trending among your steam friends.
STAY CONNECTED WITH FRIENDS
Steam Library now shows the whole list of icons of steam friends playing a particular game instead of the previous +X after a set number of friends. It now shows friends who have added the games to their wishlist which was previously found on the store page.
Game Updates and In-Game Events
On the old Steam library, news listing can be found on the game library page alongside DLC checklists. Game Updates can only be found on the store page or the game’s respective website. Valve now updates this feature for both Game Devz and its players for better communication. The new Steam library beta now has a mini pop-up style that showcases either a game update or an in-game event. This mini pop-up style is similar to the news and announcement pop-up when launching Steam.

With their all-new PayMaya-enabled ID cards, they’ll be able to get their stipends from the city government directly to the card which makes it more effecient and hassle-free for the PWDs, senior citizens and single parents.
“We are happy to partner with PayMaya for this groundbreaking initiative for the city of Manila, which will help empower some of the most vulnerable citizens of our nation’s capital. Utilizing financial technologies to deliver efficient and transparent government services is in line with our goal of transforming Manila into a ‘smart city’ of the future,” Domagoso said.
Just like a regular PayMaya card, users will also be able to use it for different financial service once you link it to the app. You’ll be able to access the discounted airtime load for all networks, accessible bills payment, QR and even card payments in PayMaya-enabled stores, restaurants and groceries. You can also send money without a hassle with PayMaya.
This is a great step for the citizens of the City of Manila as they’ll get their allowances without a hassle and they can also use it to enjoy PayMaya perks and promos. If you’re a citizen of City of Manila, you may inquire about these services at your local LGU offices.
Huawei wants to be the best in every aspect of the smartphone industry and recently, they’ve announced the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, it’s one of the most affordable smartphones with a full-screen display and a pop-up camera. But how does it perform in real-life usage? Check out our review of the smartphone here.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Review: Design and hardware
When it comes to design, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 does have an interesting and sexy design but it’s a little bit massive for my taste but hey, this also means that the smartphone is immersive when using it for games and also watching multimedia files.
Yes, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is big but the curves on the back of the sides of the smartphone help in ergonomics and of course, having a better grip on the smartphone. At the back of the smartphone is where you can see the glass-like look of the smartphone which looks good on the eyes but you can feel that it’s plastic when you hold the smartphone.
When it comes to aesthetics, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 got it all for you. There’s a fine texture look behind the smartphone and it adds beauty to it. Below the smartphone is a USB-C port and also a headphone jack along with the speaker grill while at the top, there’s the card tray along with the pop-up camera.
On the front is where you can find the 6.59-inch Ultra FullView Display and at the back, is where you can find the fingerprint scanner which is pretty fast, however, there’s no face unlock on this smartphone.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Review: Display
The smartphone packs a 6.59-inch Full HD+ Ultra FullView display and yes, there’s no notch on the smartphone that’s why the experience on this is very immersive as we got a large display on this smartphone. The colors are nice and the brightness of the smartphone was really good.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Review: Battery life
One of the main things about the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 that you would like is that the smartphone got a large 4000mAh battery. In my PC Mark battery test, I was able to get a work 2.0 battery life of 11 hours and 36 minutes which is pretty good.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Review: Software
The smartphone runs on EMUI 9.0 on top of the Android 9 and so far, I’m liking the speed of it just like the other Huawei smartphones. Of course, the smartphone still comes with some bloatware inside but don’t worry as most of them are useful.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Review: Performance
When it comes to performance, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 still uses the Kirin 710F processor which is a processor that is being used by Huawei smartphones for a while now but for its price, I wouldn’t complain about it as the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. When it comes to running basic applications, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 wouldn’t have a problem with that. Check out the benchmarks of the smartphone below:
However, if you’re planning to play some games on the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 then you might have a problem with that since the smartphone’s processor isn’t really new. The Kirin 710F will be powerful enough to play some popular games like PUBG Mobile at HD settings with high framerates with no anti-aliasing without problems and also NBA 2k19 but if you’re planning on playing games heavier than that then you might have a problem with that.
The smartphone packs a triple-lens camera and it is comprised of a 16-megapixel main camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Thankfully, they added a wide-angle lens which are getting traction in almost all smartphones these days.
Using the camera of the smartphone for basic use at decent lighting conditions would be fine while the wide-angle lens will be just fine at decent lighting however at low-light, the noise and the dip in the details are noticeable.
There’s a pop-up selfie camera on the smartphone too and it’s one of the most affordable smartphones with a pop-up camera and unfortunately, the pop-up is a little bit slow and the selfie camera is almost the same as the Huawei Y9 2019, which will do fine at decent lighting conditions. Check out the camera samples of the smartphone below.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Review: Verdict
The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is for the people who want to have an immersive experience on their smartphone. The fullscreen display with no notch brings a more exciting and immersive experience when watching movies on Netflix and YouTube and even when playing games.
The smartphone is just a fine performer but not the best one but if you want to have a full-screen display and also a pop-up camera on a smartphone that is stylish enough then you might want to consider the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.
The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is now available for Php12,990
Huawei Mate 30 series is expected to be unveiled this week but the renders and images of the Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro and the Mate 30 Porsche Design are already in the wild. Just like in the previous leaks, the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will pack round camera design at the back with the quad-camera lens.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to pack a 3D ToF sensor and then there’s a notch at the top with 3D face scanning hardware. Not only that, there’s a waterfall display too that looks beautiful. And then there’s the Huawei Mate 30 that comes with a smaller notch and sensors and of course, there’s the quad-camera setup at the back.
Huawei Mate 30
Lastly, there’s the Huawei Mate 30 Porsche Design which is the premium version of the smartphone and it will still have a racing stripe in the middle of the smartphone that is, of course, made up of leather.
The Huawei Mate 30 series is expected to be unveiled this Thursday.
