Overwatch is coming to Nintendo Switch this October

Nintendo just gave us another reason to get the Nintendo Switch or the Nintendo Switch Lite. In today’s Nintendo Direct, the company has announced that Blizzard will be bringing the popular FPS title to the Nintendo Switch.

Overwatch is currently available on the Playstation 4, Windows PC, and the Xbox One and it’s the first time that the game will be available on a handheld console. Overwatch will come with exclusive features such as motion controls that will help you in aiming which is really essential in the game.

The smartphone also packs a 6.39-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution. The smartphone also packs a Kirin 710F processor and also a 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The smartphone also comes with a 4000mAh battery and a 10W charging. Too bad, the smartphone still packs a micro USB port instead of the USB-C.

Honor Play 3 is priced as follows:

  • 6GB/64GB & 6GB/128GB – CNY 1300 (Php9,445)

We’re not sure why the Honor Play 3 6GB/64GB & 6GB/128GB packs the same price.

Sony Accidentally Unveiled Its Upcoming Xperia 5 Ahead of IFA 2019 Keynote

Sony’s IFA 2019 keynote is scheduled tomorrow with the supposed launch of the “rumored” Xperia 2. Unfortunately, Sony’s upcoming flagship is now officially confirmed as the Xperia 5 thanks to an oopsie made by the Japanese electronics giant.

The Xperia 5 was shown in a presentation rehearsal popped up on its Sony Europe Youtube channel. Unfortunately for Sony, some fans were able to get a screenshot of the Xperia 5 presentation just before it was taken down.

David Baptista da Silve’s(@DbaptistaSilva) tweet confirmed that the Xperia 5 will retain the same 21:9 display ratio and Dolby Atmos, found on the previous Xperia 1. The upcoming Xperia 5 will also have full wireless DualShock 4 support. Lastly, the phone will be available in four colors: black, blue, white, and magenta. Pre-orders in Europe are expected to start next week with shipments coming in around October.

Sony usually accompanies its flagships with mid-range releases of its Xperia lineup.

Hints of the Xperia 5, rumored as Xperia 2, started to appear last week with renders making it look like it’s nearly identical to the Xperia 1 except for the camera design.

Samsung Exynos 980 is their first 5G-integrated mobile chipset

Samsung has just announced their newest mobile processor, the Samsung Exynos 980 chipset for the first time in the company, this one will come with a 5G-integrated chipset. The chipset is based on the 8-nanometer FinFET technology and it comes with artificial intelligence.

Due to the integrated 5G chipset, this one can save more power from the device and it increases the space efficiency in the device. Thanks to the 5G in sub-6GHz, it can reach speeds up to 2.55-gigabits per second. It also supports E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity (EN-DC), it combines the 2CC LTE and 5G connectivity to maximize the mobile downlink to 3.55Gbps. Aside from that, the chipset also supports Wi-Fi 6 standard, IEEE 802.11ax that provides better speeds.

The chipset also comes with two Cortex-A77 CPU for heavy usage and there are the six Cortex-A55 cores on the Exynos 980. The GPU inside the chipset is the Mali-G76 GPU. The NPU inside the Exynos 980 is also 2.7x faster compared to its predecessor and the processor supports camera resolutions up to 108MP. For video recording, you can record 4K UHD videos at 120fps.

The Exynos 980 is expected to begin mass production by the end of this year.
