OPPO R17 Pro Launching in the PH this November 7

Surprisingly, OPPO isn’t stopping on releasing their smartphone in the country this year as OPPO will launch their next mid-range smartphone in the country, the OPPO R17 Pro. What’s so interesting about the smartphone is that the OPPO R17 Pro will be available in the Philippines next month and yes, OPPO has already announced that the launch date of the smartphone.

The OPPO R17 Pro is not only powerful thanks to its Snapdragon 710 chipset inside but also thanks to its smart aperture camera with a triple camera lens that adjusts to f/1.5 or f/2.4 depending on the environment. It also comes with OIS and TOF 3D sensing which is a depth-sensing camera for better portrait shots.

The front camera offers a 25MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and of course, there’s the AI Ultra-clear engine that helps you in improving the quality of shots.

There’s an under-display fingerprint scanner too which is really cool. There’s Super VOOC charging too with 2*1850mAh bi-cell design that promises 40% charge in just 10 minutes of charging.

NOW Telecom launches 4G LTE for homes and businesses

The telco competition in the country is getting hotter as NOW Telecom has just launched their 4G LTE service for businesses and homes. Yep, they’ll be offering NOW LTE Business and NOW LTE Home soon which are the company’s LTE Fixed Wireless Services.

They’ll be offering pocket WiFi, outdoor antenna, and indoor router to deliver a broadband connection to businesses and homes. NOW LTE is powered by Telrad networks which is an Israeli-based global provider of LTE telecom solutions to more than 300 4GB deployments in 100 countries. NOW Telco surprisingly offers a 24×7 connection with no data cap.

NOW Telco will be utilizing the prefix number: 0979 and customers will have two options to use their LTE service. The first option is to install an outdoor antenna that has a line of sight to an existing base station owned and operated by NOW Telecom while the second option is to have an indoor router or a pocket WiFi to establish an LTE internet connection.

The service will be available starting early November and it will roll out early November and it will roll out in Makati, Manila, Pasay, Pasig, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Quezon City, and BGC while the company is targeting to start their service in Cebu and Davao this fourth quarter of 2018.

The iPhone XS and XS Max will be available in the Philippines this October 26 and the pre-order for the smartphone has started a few days ago but the iPhone XR’s availability remains unknown but we already know the prices of these iPhones in the Philippines.

The iPhone XR is the more affordable brother of the iPhone XS series. The iPhone XR features a single rear camera and yet it features a portrait mode and then there’s the A12 Bionic processor which is the same CPU powering the iPhone XS. It also comes in different colors and then there’s the LCD Liquid Retina display instead of the OLED display of the iPhone XS series.

The iPhone XR comes in 64GB, 128GB, & 256GB and it is priced at Php50,990, Php53,990, and Php60,490 respectively. These iPhones will also be available in white, black, blue, yellow, coral, and red.

And according to our source, the iPhone XR will be available in the Philippines this November 16. Yep, you’ll now be able to purchase the more affordable iPhone on that day at Apple resellers nationwide.

Xiaomi Black Shark Helo Unveiled: Gaming smartphone with 10GB of RAM
