Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Sample Shots at Malacca

0

We went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the launch of their newest A series smartphones — the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A9 (2018) but the smartphone that really catches my attention between the two is the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) as it offers a triple rear camera lens to the mid-range market and the price? It’s really competitive at Php17,990

The day after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), we went to Malacca city which is 235 kilometres south-east of Kuala Lumpur and we thought that it’s a great place to take some photos using our Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018).

To give you a recap, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a triple lens camera that is comprised by a 24MP camera, 8MP 120-degree wide angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. At first, I wasn’t really expecting that the smartphone would have a really good camera but I was wrong because both cameras of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) fared really well. Check out our sample shots of the smartphone below.

Here are the shots that we took using the main camera of the smartphone.

Most of the shots using the main camera of the smartphone are pretty well but how about the wide angle shots?

As you can see, almost all of the shots that we took using the smartphone is really good however it’s a bummer that the wide-angle lens doesn’t have an autofocus and the scene detection is not built-in the auto mode.

OPPO Hyper Boost technology will speed up your games and apps

0

OPPO has just unveiled their latest technology that aims to improve the performance the overall user experience of their smartphones by improving their power consumption and also the performance of the smartphone. This is a proprietary solution to optimize the system-level resource allocation on their smartphones.

“Our journey toward improving the system performance of smartphones dates back to 2015. Today we are proud to see the launch of OPPO Hyper Boost, the result of constant improvements and optimizations. Its ability to optimize resource allocation on Android systems helps overcome the power consumption and performance challenges when smartphones are running heavy-load applications. This cutting-edge technology has demonstrated our industry-leading strength in technical innovation and our commitment to bringing the best experience to our users.” said by Ryan Chen, Head of the Software Research Center of the OPPO research Institute.

So how does the Hyper Boost of OPPO works? It enables the real-time “two-way dialogs” between the applications and the system resources. It can also recognize the user behaviors and its various scenarios and then it will give you the optimized allocation of resources across the system.

OPPO’s Hyper Boost promises to bring comprehensive acceleration for smartphones in three levels:

In the system engine, the Hyper Boost optimizes the system-level across the Qualcomm and the MediaTek platforms and it has over 50 solutions to optimize the hardware resources against 20-plus software scenarios and 20-plus software behaviors. This optimization made by OPPO’s Hyper Boost will ensure a better and smoother experience and helps a 31.91% shorter loading time.

OPPO has also included an application engine for platform-level applications which optimizes applications such as WeChat, TaoBao, and QQ. This optimization brings an acceleration in 39 common usage scenarios.

The best part about the Hyper Boost is Game Engine in where OPPO has worked with companies like Tencent, Netease and game engines such as Unreal, Unity, and Cocos to bring better optimization on the top 100 mobile games. The games that were optimized for OPPO smartphones include “Honor of Kings” and “PUBG Mobile”. Hyper Boost also improved the optimized its network by providing intelligent distribution of traffic between cellular and Wi-Fi data network channels.

With this development from OPPO, I expect that the company will bring in more improvement to their smartphones in the future especially that most smartphone manufacturers are now aiming to bring a proprietary boost to their smartphones.

Both the smartphone offers a new and amazing camera and also a powerful hardware inside. Check out the specs of both smartphones below.
