Why I’m excited for Days Gone to come out

0

Days Gone is probably one of the biggest game to ever hit the Playstation 4. It’s a new IP and yet, everyone is excited about it because of its genre. It’s the latest zombie game and unlike other games with the same genre, this is one is filled with more adrenaline and excitement. So why I’m excited? Here are the reasons why.

The mob of zombies

Unlike Resident Evil which isn’t for scaredy cat, Days Gone is a different genre as it features zombies that aren’t slow and dumb. Instead, Days Gone features zombies that think and are smart enough to run to you like a mob similar to 28 days later. Which is why killing zombies in the game is no easy task.

You control everything with your decisions

Days Gone isn’t linear and every decision that you make affects every element of the game. Well, not as drastic as you might think but you can skip killing some zombies or some people in the game and just continue with your journey.

There are many ways to kill…or to hide

One of the best features of the game is that there are many ways to kill an enemy. You can either do it by stealth or by using your gun out loud. But of course, louder means that you can attract more zombies.

The graphics is awesome

We played Days Gone on a PS4 Pro on a 4K TV and we noticed that the game is just running on 30fps but man, the game’s graphics is just glorious and it’s pure beauty. However, I noticed there were some framedrops on the game during the parts where there was a mob of zombies.

It’s a large world

One of the things that you gotta love with Days Gone is its vast rich world. Every detail of the game is essential and scavenging plays a big part on the game too. Not only zombies but there will also be wolves and other NPCs that you might encounter.

So there we go, those are just some of the things that we loved on Days Gone. The game is exclusive to Playstation 4 and it will be out next year, February 2019.

Are you a frequent traveller or you have a lot of business trips outside the country? Well, here’s a good device that you can use whenever you travel, the CherryRoam device. CherryRoam is a pocket wifi roaming device that uses GlocalMe’s CloudSIM technology.

The CherryRoam features a 4G LTE connectivity in more than 100+ countries worldwide and you don’t have to buy a sim card with data anymore in each country as Cherry Mobile offers a better way to connect to the internet when you’re outside the country.

Why do we need it? Well, in my case, I always share my photos on Facebook and also on Instagram. I also use roaming devices like this when I need to navigate my way to the destination using Google Maps.

One of the best reasons why roaming devices like this are essential for travelling is because you can subscribe to the best package that you can use depending on what country you’re going. You can even get a cheaper cost per gigabyte or even subscribe to a data package that will best suit you even if you travel

The CherryRoam features a 4-inch display with a compact but thick build and its software are good enough to let you see the real-time data monitoring of the device and it is powered by a Qualcomm 4G LTE chipset that allows five users to connect to it. Not only that, but it also houses a two Nano SIM card slot if you want to use a local sim and of course, you can also use it as a power bank as it features a 5,350mAh battery which promises a 15-hour standby time.

It’s easy to purchase any data packages too and you have the full control over their usage using the CherryRoam app which can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or the App Store. You can also see there the best data package for you.

Consumers can rent a CherryRoam by going to www.cherryroam.com.ph and providing the travel dates and preferred data package and it will be delivered to your doorstep or picked up at accredited hubs or you can purchase one for only Php6,990.

You can check out the data packages that you can get with CherryRoam below:

Death Stranding TGS 2018 Trailer: We’re still clueless about the game

0

There are already a lot of trailers that have been unveiled by Kojima productions and at Tokyo Game Show 2018, the company has released another trailer of their very mysterious game, Death Stranding. The game is spearheaded by the creator of the Metal Gear Series and the game has been teased for more than a year now but the gameplay and the plot still remains a mystery to everyone. The only thing that we know is that the game is filled with A-list celebrities including Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, and in the trailer, Troy Baker.

In the trailer, Troy Baker plays the character with a golden skull mask and he first saw Norman Reedus walking and then he summoned a gigantic monster which suggests that his character might be an antagonist to the game.

Again, we’re still clueless about the game and Kojima hasn’t released any more details about the game. But hopefully, we get to know more about Death Stranding soon.

Google Play goes big at Tokyo Game Show 2018

0

One of the highlights when going to the Tokyo Game Show 2018 are the booths and the highlights of their games but one booth really stood out for me and it was Google Play. Why Google Play? Well, it is the first time that Google made a booth that large at Tokyo Game Show and also because they created a really cool game for the attendees.

Basically, there are a lot of mini booths scattered around the show floor of the Tokyo Game Show 2018 and then there’s a QR code that you need to scan and it corresponds to a certain points and if you scan enough QR codes that you’ll have 100 points, you can exchange it for a chance to check out their gachapon. Gachapon is a vending machine that houses capsules with prizes on them. The cool part is that is it’s free!

So the question still remains. Why is Google Play a big deal at Tokyo Game Show 2018? Basically, it means that Google is all out for their gaming platform and they’re really serious with their offering of games for the Asian market.

Actually, I’m excited about the future of gaming on Android. Hopefully, we can get more AAA games that doesn’t requires us to have an in-app purchase to take advantage of other players.

LOOK: NDRRMC Command Center features state-of-the-art equipment

0

Every year, the Philippines is hit with at least one strong typhoon and this is why the operation of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is really essential to our countrymen. Previous and current government administrations are always working hard to minimize the disaster and damages that these typhoons can do to the country.

One of the steps that the previous government has done is the building of the NDRRMC’s new command center at Camp Aguinaldo which is a 600-square meter building started in 2014 and it was complete before 2016, however, the government only started using this command center last 2016.

The operation center is a 3-level building in where the ground floor houses the different agencies during disasters and the second floor is where the state-of-the-art “war room” and high-tech equipment is located while the third floor houses the board room where the officials views the large screens from the command center.

The government did not spend a thing on the construction of the operations center which roughly costs Php250 million to Php300 million as SMSGT Inc. has and foreign partners has donated for the creation of the operations center.

Kudos to the previous administration for the construction of this one and also to the current administration for utilizing the command center.
