0

If you’re a big fan of Gundams and Japan then you’ll be probably be happy to know that the new Life-Sized RX-0 Unicorn Gundam has just been unveiled at Odaiba District in Tokyo, Japan. Yes, Life-Sized which means that the Gundam that you’ll be seeing is 20-feet tall and it’s currently on destroy mode at the Diver City Tokyo in Odaiba District.

Aside from the unveiling of the life-sized RX-0 Unicorn Gundam is the promotion of their new Gundam products at the new Gundam Front and Gundam Trailer Shop. You can buy different Gundam products and merchandise in both Gundam Front and the Gundam Trailer Shop. Since this one was just unveiled today, the lines are really long and the crowd was so big.

Damn, it’s my first time to see a life-sized Gundam and even though I’m not its biggest fan, I was still amazed when the gigantic Gundam in front of me and open its destroyer mode. It feels really amazing. The details of the Gundam were precise too because you get nearer to the Gundam itself, you can notice the texts and designs that are painted in the Gundam.

If you want to check out this life-sized Gundam in Tokyo Japan, you can go there via train and in our case, we went there using the automated Yurikamome transit monorail system.

Final Fantasy XV Comrades is fun but a dull expansion

1

One of the games that we were able to try is Final Fantasy XV Comrades. It’s the newest game addition to the Final Fantasy XV and it will be available for free for those with a copy of Final Fantasy XV. Basically, you’ll be playing a created character and in our demo, we got to play with a soldier and also a Chocobo (I know! It’s cool!) The player that I got different weapons. It has a shield, spear, a sword, and even a crossbow. Our experience is just limited as we are only able to experience a single quest in where we must escort the truck to safety and kill the enemies that will be on the way.

The battle gameplay experience of Final Fantasy XV is one of the things that I love in the game and with Final Fantasy XV Comrades, you’ll be playing with your friends which is more fun the experience is still dull to me. The gameplay is very much similar to Final Fantasy XV Single Player mode but this time, you’ll be playing with your friends. The game lacks excitement and it’s pretty dull to me. I wish that I was wrong. Again, we just played the demo at TGS 2017 and it was just a single quest but hey, at least you got this expansion for free.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR is a great game with terrible controls

0

One of the games that we were able to try at Tokyo Gaming Show 2017 is Skyrim VR. The game is more than 5 years old already but it still proves to be popular as Bethesda has recently unveiled the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special edition that features better optimization for more powerful hardware and also a better graphics but aside from that, Bethesda has also announced the Skyrim VR, the same game from the company but this time made for PSVR.

We tried Skyrim VR and it was terrible. Actually, the game is still the same but the controls are just really terrible. Well, we didn’t have any problems with its frames and graphics as it still looks the same, however, the controls of the game using the PS Move controller was just terrible. In order to move in Skyrim VR, you have to use your PS Move controller to point in where you want to teleport then just press the move button to teleport. And in order to rotate your character, you have to press the O or X buttons of the PS move controller.

Despite that, attacking the enemies using the sword is fun as you have to switch one of the PS move controllers depending on which hand of the character is using the sword. Using the bow and arrow is a challenge too as you have to nock and draw the arrows which is tiring if you’re using the bow too much.

Skyrim VR is plagued with terrible controls experience when using the PS Move controller. It’s not easy to avoid enemies on Skyrim VR but sometimes you can easily run away from enemies since you can just teleport. Skyrim is a great game, however, the controls on its VR version is just terrible.

Skyrim VR will be available on the PS4 soon as long as you have the PSVR headset but if you want to play one of the best games that Bethesda that has created then it’s better to go for the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition which is now available in the market.

Gran Turismo Sport VR: One of Best Games for PSVR

0

Gran Turismo Sport is one of the most exciting racing simulators that will be coming to the PS4 soon. It’s the latest game in the series and I was one of the lucky people who were able to try out this game in Tokyo Game Show 2017 in VR. But of course, you could still play the game on the PS4 without the VR.

We played the game in VR along with the racing wheel that doesn’t come with a stick shift but it’s fine as I played the game in automatic. I’ve played the game in my Red Nissan GT-R at Tokyo Expressway and I battled a single AI.

As expected, the Gran Turismo Sport is clean, and a really nice driving simulator but it was not as complex as Project Cars. But it’s actually good as most people wouldn’t have to suffer the complexity and confusing features of the game.

In the graphics department, the Gran Turismo Sport doesn’t fail to amaze us. The details of the cars are just good along with the environment however in VR, I notice that the elements are rougher and the details inside the car are dull and it isn’t as good as I expected.

The fun part about the Gran Turismo Sports VR is that you’re immersed in another world whenever you wear their PS VR headset. The frames were smooth and the lap time and the current gear are placed on the dashboard. Since you’re in the driver’s view, you’ll have to look at the side mirror and also to the rearview mirror in order to see the sides and the back respectively.

Gran Turismo Sport VR is probably one of the best games that you can play on PSVR. If you love racing then you might want to check this thing out. Because despite its flaws, Gran Turismo Sport VR is still a good title for the PSVR platform. It’s probably one of their best title for their VR platform.

0

Gran Turismo series is one of the best driving simulators out there and as actually, the series is actually one of my favorites. I’ve started playing Gran Turismo 2 in the early 2000s and it was a damn fine game back then. And in this October, the next game in the series, Gran Turismo Sport, will be coming to the Playstation 4.

And if you haven’t got the PS4 yet, well, Sony will be offering the Playstation 4 Gran Turismo Sport Special Edition this October 2017 in the Philippines. The console will come with 1TB of storage and a jet black and silver two tone design with the Gran Turismo logo in the center of the console. The wireless controller will also sport the same color along with the logo of Gran Turismo on its touchpad.

Just like the previous games, Gran Turismo Sport will have a lot of content that comes with it. There are concept models and prototypes that are developed by Bugatti, Aston Martin, and Mercedes Benz that can be seen in the game. And of course, you can choose 150 vehicles from the game and also 28 different course layouts from 17 fantastic locations from all over the world. The game is also the world’s first FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) approved championships and yes, you can play with your friends and others with Gran Turismo Sport competitions via the online play.

The Playstation 4 Gran Turismo Sport Special Edition will be available this October and it will come with a physical copy of Gran Turismo Sport. The Playstation 4 Gran Turismo Sport Special Edition has a suggested retail price of Php20,900

Final Fantasy IX comes to PlayStation 4

0

One of my personal favorites in the PSX is Final Fantasy IX and it’s coming to the PlayStation 4! The game was released more than a decade ago for Sony’s Playstation Console and it was a hit as 5 million copies of this game were sold. The game has also been rereleased recently on the App Store and Play Store and it has some new features including autosaving, high-speed mode, no encounter mode, master all abilities booster, and also maximize character levels, magic stone counts, and gil.

The game is now available on PSN and since we’re getting it on the Playstation 4, we can expect a better graphics and also high-definition movies, and also the features that we first saw on iOS and Android.

Final Fantasy IX is now available on PSN for USD$16.79 for a limited time until September 26 and then it will be priced at USD$20.99.
