Enjoy the convenience of booking bus tickets at Araneta City Bus Port with the help of Paymaya

Visiting your loved ones this upcoming All Souls’ Day long weekend via Araneta City Bus Port is now made more convenient by PayMaya. The Araneta City Bus port is the first integrated bus terminal in the country to implement a QR- and card-based ticketing payment system, thanks to the digital financial services leader PayMaya.

One can simply book their tickets online through www.aranetacitybusport.com or through their newly launched Araneta City mobile app available for iOS and Android, and pay using any Visa, Mastercard, or JCB credit, debit, or prepaid cards through the PayMaya Checkout payment gateway.

On the other hand, for those who want to avail their tickets on-site can pay using any payment card at the cashier through the PayMaya Touch mobile POS terminal, or through their PayMaya accounts by scanning to pay with PayMaya QR.

“We have seen the impact of how this initiative has tremendously improved the experience of our commuters. It has also helped reduce the queues at the Araneta City Bus Port. We have recently relaunched Araneta City as a ‘City of Firsts’–and being the first bus transport hub to implement QR- and card-based ticketing payment system for our commuters is something that we are really proud of,” said Marjorie Go, Marketing Manager of Araneta City.

“Commuting can be such a hassle, which is why innovations in transportation resonate so well with all Filipinos. We are glad that the Araneta City Bus Port has taken the lead in this regard as they offer pioneering innovations like QR and other cashless payment acceptance powered by PayMaya. We encourage all commuters to avail of this convenient digital ticketing payment system so they can avoid the long queues and enjoy special perks this pre-holiday season,” added Shailesh Baidwan, President of PayMaya.
