Tecno has launched the Tecno Pova 5 Pro, a gaming-focused smartphone that bags new features.

The device comes with a Dimensity 6080 chipset. Built on a 6nm process by TSMC, this processor boasts a configuration of 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6x A55 cores at 2.0GHz. The accompanying Mali-G57 MC2 GPU promises visually stunning graphics and an engaging gaming experience. Notably, the Dimensity chipset also brings blazing-fast 5G connectivity, ensuring seamless online gameplay.
The Pova 5 Pro pairs this chipset with 8GB of RAM, further expandable by an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, and a generous 256GB of storage. To keep thermals in check during intense gaming sessions, a sizeable 2,820mm² vapor chamber and a 12,979mm² heat dissipation area work in tandem to maintain the Dimensity chipset at an optimal temperature, enhancing performance and longevity.

Fueling the Techno Pova 5 Pro is a 5,000mAh battery, promising over 9 hours of uninterrupted gaming or more than 13 hours of video streaming. With 68W Ultra Charging technology, replenishing power is remarkably swift, reaching 50% in just 15 minutes and achieving a full charge within 45 minutes. Notably, Tecno introduces the Bypass Charge feature, which bypasses the battery to power the phone directly from a charger or power bank. This innovation reduces heat generation and battery wear.

Tecno has incorporated a range of innovative features into the Pova 5 Pro to elevate user experience.
