OPPO officially unveiled the OPPO Pad Mini, its newest small tablet that will compete against the iPad Mini. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and running ColorOS 16 on Android 16, the OPPO Pad Mini is made for users who want a powerful performance without carrying a full-sized tablet around.

The OPPO Pad Mini comes with an 8.8-inch AMOLED panel with 2520 x 1680 resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Brightness peaks at 1600 nits, so whether you’re watching videos, working outdoors, or reading articles, visibility is excellent.

Flagship Performance in a Mini Body

Powering the whole thing is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. OPPO also bundled PC-level WPS tools and cross-device features into ColorOS 16, which makes multitasking and productivity better.

Storage and memory options give buyers some flexibility, with RAM choices starting at 8GB and going up to 12GB, while storage goes from 256GB to 512GB.

Camera specs are decent for a tablet. It comes with a 13MP rear shooter and then there’s the 8MP front camera as well. The 8000mAh battery keeps the device running long, and then there’s the 67W of fast charging inside as well.

The OPPO Pad Mini supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C. Dual speakers round out the multimedia experience, and at just 5.3mm thin.
